My Mama was the "Early Shopper" ! If she saw something on sale in September that she thought (fill in the blank) would like, she'd buy it, and put it up 'til Christmas ...unless she LOST it somewhere before then ! 😂
That's exactly why I can't be the Early Shopper. I tried ONCE...I wound up losing a couple gifts, having to go out and replace them, then finding the original gifts in March. I'd hidden them *really* well. Also, a word of advice? Never shop too early for clothes that will be given as gifts. I bought my brother-in-law a shirt at the after Christmas sales one year (back when there was still Christmas merchandise left after Christmas), intending to give it to him the following Christmas...then over the course of 12 months, he lost over 50 pounds and the shirt was now too big for him.
This is a family channel. We can't show the person who "pre-gamed" Christmas and then pulls out a switch blade at the first comment made about why you're still single, no kids, living in a 1 bedroom, and still a bag boy at 30. And that is why I mail my Christmas gifts...as per court order.
Been there, done that..never again. The gift wrap table was equally the best and worst part. Best, because nobody kept bothering you about prices and refunds. Worst, because if you didn't wrap five presents in under two minutes, customers called you a lazy bugger.
My children received so many gifts from grandparents and aunts 2 years ago that half of the items stayed in boxes. So I rewrapped them and they finally played with them. They never realized. My kids are older school age. No I do not regret it. When money is tight.....
Depending on the recipient, I'm occasionally the gift card giver or apologist. I'm also the elaborate wrapper, to the point where a few co-workers and family members have paid me to wrap a gift or gifts for them. But I'm OK with not getting back the ribbon or fancy tissue paper. Mostly though, I'm the "Gives Several Small Gifts Hoping At Least One Will Please". I also always have an order in which I want you to unwrap my gifts, starting with the cheapest or least exciting and finishing with the most expensive or relevant or meaningful. One year, an out of town friend who's also friends with my bff came to visit at Christmas. At gift-exchanging time, I handed my bff three gifts; our mutual friend was baffled when bff just sat there, not opening them. When he asked why she wasn't opening her gifts, bff said "I'm waiting to find out what order to open them in", like that was the most natural thing in the world. Our mutual friend still laughs about that.
For me I prefer gift cards just because I kind of have an eccentric type of shopping sense plus it's easier for me to get my stuff but if you know what I like it surprised me with something I adore I am grateful
Gift cards are a scam. Give cash. It's MORE thoughtful, than FORCING someone to spend money at places they don't want to shop... and then they don't even get all the money on the card, gift cards ALWAYS charge a fee with every transaction. When you give a gift card, it's not $50... it's actually $42. GIFT... CARDS... SUCK!!!

I love holidays in the south, we don't get any snow but it doesn't stop us from getting into the holiday spirit. My sister only texted an hour ago and asked me if it would be disrespectful to use Olaf on top of her tree instead of an angel. I laughed for five minutes, Christmas in Mississippi guys. 🤣🤣🤣 (I've already got my angel)
In Sweden we generally use a star on top of the tree. And we are always disappointed when there is no white Christmas. Which happens sometimes but we also get really heavy snow other times. It is also completely dark at 3 p.m. so there's that...
My mom always hammered my siblings and I for Christmas lists by Black Friday so she would get it done then and cyber Monday mostly. Personally I’m a baker so I tend to just make my friends their favorite sweets and a bunch of cookies and fudge for them.
I started hammering my son and his fiancée for their lists back in October. His fiancée sent me hers week before last and I’m almost done with her, done with my son, done with the husband. All I have to do is get cash for my sister and her family, treats for the dog and cats, and something for my dog to give my sister’s dog. I’ve never been this far ahead before! The husband will pick up two gift cards for the gift card exchange with his family. Oh, and I’m waiting on a gift I ordered for my sister and her husband!

The One Who’s Birthday Is Two Days Before Christmas! Never mind, I’m used to it by now... Although, Mom still blames me for putting her in the Hospital for Christmas even though it was 64 years ago...
I get it. Of four children, my parents had 2 within the same week in December(almost 4 years apart) and one the first week of Jan.(The other in early-mid Feb.) My mom's bday was the same week of Thanksgiving. Crazy thing, my dad, who was the only parent able to work due to my mother's health, and, for whatever crazy reason, regarding how that particular state paid its employees, the family of *SIX* had to live off of *ONE* paycheck(a small one at that) from late November thru sometime in Feb, I believe it was. (I know it was, because it was explained to us ...as I am about to share in completion...) That said, as given above, we had *three major holidays* PLUS *five bdays* within that timeframe. Well, needless to say, but I will, it is a humbling experience to celebrate being able to have a birthday cake, especially a cake and maybe one small gift, plus anything for Christmas-at all. .....those were the days. Lol.
I am the early online shopper! And this year I have all mine gift bagged and tagged! I usually am a last minute wrapper! It feels much better this year!
Y'all, this is just 18 November. There's plenty time for Talia to light up your world like the 4th of... They're just giving more players some time to get out of social isolation for a little while. Savor it!
You forgot the overthinkers who aren't sure if this should even be a real thing. They either get you something like a jar of hammers or they panic and staple their hand to their face. XD
If you don't know what to give them just give them money and a stocking stuffer, everyone likes money and the extra effort of thinking of them with a little something to go with it😊
I’m the early bird that desperately tries to remember every conversation with the person I’m buying while also trying the find ethically sourced everything.
My father was a combination of these-he would wait until Christmas Eve and then go to the mall shortly before they closed to get reduced price Hickory Farms gift boxes for everyone. So a last minute, under spender, who got the same thing for everyone.
So funny and so true! My mom was the early bird, shopped really cool discounted presents the week after Christmas for the next Christmas. Then she'd say, "Don't go in that closet, presents are in there, they aren't wrapped yet." LOL! She'd have them all wrapped by Spring. I'm the gift card giver---gift card is the best creation known to man--if my mom was still alive she'd give me an earful. My dad was the "no gift giver" and didn't want to open the gift you gave him...LOL. My oldest brother was the expensive gift giver...he gave me a gold princess landline telephone when I was 13 years old? WTW? My second brother was the cool gift giver---a gift you didn't even know you needed/or wanted---a cassette recorder, set of R & B tapes, Polaroid camera at 9 years old.
Forgot a crucial one. The in-between shopper. The one who hate black Friday, but still manages to get presents for everyone every year. FYI this is me. Lol
I'm definitely the anti-shopper. I told my family and friends some twenty years ago that I was DONE with gift giving for the holidays. I'm not buying them and I don't expect any. Christmas has been so much more enjoyable and stress free ever since.
My mother and I buy things throughout the year. She is the queen of the gift closet I swear, I could go to her at any time of year when a friend's birthday was coming up, Christmas gift for a teacher, and that magical closet would have just the right thing. Being in retail with 2 jobs, she also didn't have much time to go out in November. I learned that getting everything done by the first of November was the way to go. Gives you enough time to go out, or order.
Aww this was okay but I missed Talia. It wasn't a Christmas vid without her (and her Christmas music she has been playing since October 1998...) It seemed like Adam was cheating on her. 😔
@@bubbles9975 Hey, you seem weirdly and overly concerned about whom I buy gifts for at Christmas. I'll send you a list of those people and you can display how generous you are. And no online shopping, get your ass in your vehicle and fight those crowds. Silly...
@@shalawndudley2094 // I would be happy to have a family to buy presents for because earlier this year both my parents and siblings were all killed in an accident.. 😭
I humbly admit I'm a gift set box type of gal. If there is a brand that a love one or friends uses frequently I will try to find a gift set for it(affordable, I ain't rich but the bigger the better). I once bought a friend a giant set and they were still actively using the shampoos and body washes I got them around next October. Everybody now just tells me what they need or what they're running low on.😂 On the flip side I really don't care what I get as long as it's practical or I can snack on it.
That's nice that your SIL has a signature holiday treat she makes for the family! It sounds better than pie crusts that my MIL used to make for her family!
That gal In the first one is such a great actress. So relatable and makes me crack up, especially when she was on the phone with her mom telling her she was "right around the corner."😂
I remember a family Christmas party one year that one Aunt & Uncle got all the under-age kids "walkman" AM/FM-Stereo radios... and left the price tags on!😆
Once upon a time, as a young lass, I was a last minute shopper. This year, I realised I had finished shopping by August. My nana would have been pleased.
My birthday is in December on the 13th aka the holiday hustle (12 after thanksgiving, 12 days before Christmas my list only includes journal, football tickets ( American college football ) hockey tickets and bull riding tickets ...NO JEWELRY NO CLOTHES ( I wear a size 22 ) NO FRAGRANCES
Wrapping remains my downfall. I've usually got the gifts purchased by the beginning of November but its the night I go over to my mom and dad's house that they actually get wrapped.
1:08 Matt had a bit trouble raining the gift cards there, it's ok buddy, me too. 3:36 The subtitles: Maniacal laughter. That's right, It's a Southern thing knows the limit to being an early bird shopper before your crazy.
I’m combination of early bird and online shopper. I’m also an over gifter. My best friends wife probably isn’t expecting a gift from me, but she’s gonna get one.
I’m the “everyone gets the same thing!”....for birthdays or just because I love to give mugs or books. For Christmas, yes, everyone the same and their own hand written card. Last year it was fuzzy socks, came in handy in 2020, this year, it’s a simple silver bangle and homemade cookies I’ll ship. Easy. Done!
I am proud to say that I’m the online shopper, over spender, apologizer, and early bird. Oh and elaborate wrapper. I don’t ask for paper back, I just want people to stop before they open and say it looks nice
I am definitely the elaborate wrapper. My family is always like we don’t even wanna open them. Like while people are out shopping for decorations for the tree or house, I’m looking for stuff to put on my presents.
My Nanny was the early bird she had all her Christmas shopping done by July. When she passed away in February of 2004 she had 98% of it done. I miss her so much. Same with my mother-in-law.
I guess you can call me the early bird and over buyer. I shop all year when there's a sale. I have a box in my attic for each person. Then when I wrap the gifts a little at a time until the 21st (my birthday). One year I had so many gifts bought i ran out of room under the tree so I just used the small gifts to fill in the blank spots on the tree and placed others on the window seal.
Omg. My work husband and his wife would finish their Christmas shopping by Hallowe'en! And he'd crow about it up until the 24th of December. True story!!!
The gift card lover was my husband...till Amazon. Now you visit his office and pick off his second screen. Its like visiting Santa during a gaming session. 📦📦📦📦 Merry Christmas 🎅
*DEFINITELY* am the gift card typed person. I *MUST* go through *ALL* of the tissue paper, bows, ribbons, & bags. If they don't want them back, I'll *GLADLY* store them away with my stuff until next Christmas. I'm *NOT* the baker of the family. That was my late husband. He even cooked our *BIG* Thanksgiving & Christmas meals we had at home, with just us & our 2 daughters. I've learned a *LOT* in the 5yrs since his passing, but we still wish it was him cooking, baking, etc., while I washed the dishes. He just *LOVED* to cook for our growing family!! Other than that, I'm pretty much *EVERYONE* else on the list, except for the *Bad Taste Gift*. You don't tell me what you want, you'll get a gift card. I've even started doing our daughters that way. Then again, I think *MOST* 17&15yr old kids would rather have access to 💰 💰 💰, instead of a bunch of bum gifts that you thought of when they were 10yrs. old. LOL...of course, I *ALWAYS* have them something under the 🌲 🌲 to unwrap. We Momma's know how to listen to the kids talking about what they want. If I can make it happen, I'll surprise them with it. *HAPPY HOLIDAYS, EVERYONE!* May you *ALL* be blessed with LOVE, JOY, PEACE, HEALTH, COMFORT, & STRENGTH! I pray for everyone's financial situation to get better, for our country to get better, for this pandemic to get better so we can *ALL* return back to our *NORMAL* lives! *Let's ring out 2020, with the hopes that 2021 will be the BEST year EVER!*
I'm not a Gift Card Lover (although I don't mind getting them as gifts), but I am a habitual Gift Card Giver. Last Christmas was the first time in years that I bought actual gifts for my sister's kids instead of giving them gift cards.
I'm an early bird raised by an early bird. Christmas shopping starts December 26th for the next year and is typically over with by August or September other than food type gifts and gift cards.
I am 100% the gift card person. I stopped buying gifts when people stopped telling me what they wanted.
I buy my own stuff. Feels weird to impose on others by beggin'. We just get together for food and catching up. Plus the obligatory embarrassing pictures from the old photo albums.

XD
If you don't know what to give them just give them money and a stocking stuffer, everyone likes money and the extra effort of thinking of them with a little something to go with it😊
I am a master at re-gifting without getting caught. 👸🏾💅🏾 (Edit: my sister, on the other hand, is not 🙄)
Ah, the Regift-fu is-ah strong with you!
27 * 1/2 cup sugar is 6.75 lbs.
You're welcome.
Ok, those sandals/slippers in camo are awesome!
Forgot a crucial one. The in-between shopper. The one who hate black Friday, but still manages to get presents for everyone every year. FYI this is me. Lol
Matt's face when he's flinging gift cards......priceless! Miss Diana, though.
Why is Adam not married to Talia in this? I don't like this one bit
Same lol
.I didn’t even see her, did you?
Its so weird, like realizing your parents arent together anynore. Please ST, give us the stability of Adam/Talia in these dark times.
Them: Mom and dad ae...taking a break.
Us: Did we do something bad? This is our fault, isn't it.
@@samiam619 no, my internet wife was missing. She must have still been shopping for me. Lol.
Aww this was okay but I missed Talia. It wasn't a Christmas vid without her (and her Christmas music she has been playing since October 1998...) It seemed like Adam was cheating on her. 😔
Who says he's not?
Seriously, y'all.🙄 This is ridiculous to say about her man.
@@biker5662 He's a cool dude

I'm an online shopper for the kids, the teens get cash, the adults are hit or miss. Sometimes they get a gift, sometimes they don't...🤷♀️
😥 Why..?? Does it depend on what kinda mood you're in.. 🤦🏼♀️ or how much $$ you feel like giving?? That's pretty.. lame.. 😭
@@bubbles9975 You got it! I certainly have the option to do as I please from year to year. Guess I'm lame then...
@@shalawndudley2094 /) Yes.. you are.. 😐
online shopper + early bird =me, every year.
I haven’t wanted one of these in a couple of months! Gotta catch up 😂
I humbly admit I'm a gift set box type of gal. If there is a brand that a love one or friends uses frequently I will try to find a gift set for it(affordable, I ain't rich but the bigger the better). I once bought a friend a giant set and they were still actively using the shampoos and body washes I got them around next October. Everybody now just tells me what they need or what they're running low on.😂
On the flip side I really don't care what I get as long as it's practical or I can snack on it.
My shopping is all done and wrapped ..love on line shopping !
Am I the only one that feels like Kevin was cheating on Diane?
A little ditty
'Bout Kev and Diane
She won't be sittin' so pretty
When she finds out 'bout her man! 😋
Diane finally left Kevin to stay warm during the Holidays. So far gone, not even a picture remains.
Thank you!!!!!! I thought the exact same thing
This is the Way
Hey just want to say i have been watching you for a wile and i love the videos keep up the great work
My brother's wife makes chex mix with white chocolate pretzels. That's all I need really.
That's nice that your SIL has a signature holiday treat she makes for the family! It sounds better than pie crusts that my MIL used to make for her family!
I always love your holiday videos!
Online shopping is like the best though!!😂😂
I'm glad to see I'm on here.... getting Xmas gifts done in September is totally normal ☺️😆
That gal In the first one is such a great actress. So relatable and makes me crack up, especially when she was on the phone with her mom telling her she was "right around the corner."😂
Once i start watching these vids i i cant stop !!!!!!!😂😂
Love the last minute shopper!!
So true! I know everyone of those shoppers!
Just because presents are bought early, doesn't mean I wrapped them before Christmas day.
LOL my parents wrap them Christmas eve 😂
Empty at morning full by 2 am
My birthday is in December on the 13th aka the holiday hustle (12 after thanksgiving, 12 days before Christmas my list only includes journal, football tickets ( American college football ) hockey tickets and bull riding tickets ...NO JEWELRY NO CLOTHES ( I wear a size 22 ) NO FRAGRANCES
Same 😂
Yeah, if I wrap them early I forget what they are.
Wrapping remains my downfall. I've usually got the gifts purchased by the beginning of November but its the night I go over to my mom and dad's house that they actually get wrapped.
I swear my accent comes out big time when I have to read all the words/names in the videos, I love it!
Man this was good. Got some great laughs out of this one.
I "shamelessly" say. "Hey, if you don't want the bag. I'll take it back to reuse next year!"😂 Oh, and the bows too!

Matt had a bit trouble raining the gift cards there,
it's ok buddy, me too.

The subtitles: Maniacal laughter.
That's right, It's a Southern thing knows the limit to being an early bird shopper before your crazy.
I really didn’t want to part ways with that Chick-fil-A card
@Matt Mitchell who does? Chick fil a is holy here in Arkansas!
@@alostrich Who would?
I’m combination of early bird and online shopper.
I’m also an over gifter. My best friends wife probably isn’t expecting a gift from me, but she’s gonna get one.
That ribbon comment is so true! My bff & I save each other's paper.
Gift cards can actually be pretty decent gifts.
this channel keeps me sane
MY MOM IS THE BUDGET DRILL SERGEANT 😂
I am impressed, I think you got all the types!
I’m the “everyone gets the same thing!”....for birthdays or just because I love to give mugs or books. For Christmas, yes, everyone the same and their own hand written card. Last year it was fuzzy socks, came in handy in 2020,
this year, it’s a simple silver bangle and homemade cookies I’ll ship. Easy. Done!
I am proud to say that I’m the online shopper, over spender, apologizer, and early bird.
Oh and elaborate wrapper. I don’t ask for paper back, I just want people to stop before they open and say it looks nice
I want a Circuit City gift card
*Oh wait*
Welcome to Circuit City...where service is state of the art!

I am definitely the Early Bird, The apologizer, and one that you didn't have the DIYer!
I love your videos they are amazing
Just missing the person who spent 8 months hand crafting presents and spent way too much time and money on them (but they are filled with love)
I already got my Christmas shopping done
In the exuberant wrapper!!! I spend more time on wrapping than shopping!
I use to be the early shopper...but with 2020 I’m somewhere between the re-gifter and the one who gets the same thing for everyone. 🤣🤣🤣
I am definitely the elaborate wrapper. My family is always like we don’t even wanna open them. Like while people are out shopping for decorations for the tree or house, I’m looking for stuff to put on my presents.
My mother’s the elaborate wrapper. I personally love receiving gift cards! Then I can go get exactly what I want!!! Yay!
I am the online shopper and the early bird! It feels good to have everything wrapped months before with nothing to worry about.
My Nanny was the early bird she had all her Christmas shopping done by July. When she passed away in February of 2004 she had 98% of it done. I miss her so much. Same with my mother-in-law.
Every once in a while I'm an early bird, but this year I'm more of an on-line buyer.
Dude, I love Christmas... Every year I plan out things I want to get people way before Christmas. This year, I made my Christmas list in October...
Whoever is reading this, have a great day!😊

Hilarious, on a sidenote I'm loving the color and curls on the overspender/terrible cook.
Right on, as always.
Haha, i'm a combo of the online and early shopper! 😂
I'm an early bird raised by an early bird. Christmas shopping starts December 26th for the next year and is typically over with by August or September other than food type gifts and gift cards.
This amazing! Really funny, too.
The one who buys handcrafted gifts and passes them off as made by themselves.
