Your video helped me to figure out how to use this module to charge my lithium ion batteries. It was sitting in my closet because I didn't know how to use it. Thank you!
Glad it helped!
Thankyou!Thankyou very much!!!
Very detailed thanks for your work and sharing 👍🇬🇧
Thought I blew up mine and lost it, but found it under a pile of clothes a couple of days ago. Retested it after watching your video because of the over voltage protection, glad to say still works 👍🇬🇧✌️
Hello, If you live in Canada or USA, I am giving away this DL24P 180W load and energy meter. Make sure to sign up for it czcams.com/video/-UblSfUEY-0/video.html
quite an entertaining video u-tuber
Very thorough review - I am looking at the non-LCD version which appears to be the same and also purports to have an 'anti-backflow diode' - do you know if that is a diode after the SEPIC voltage divider and/or current sense resistor (presumed on the negative leg)? I know this is probably not cool to do this but I want to tie two completely isolated battery-powered converters together and want to know if it will go SED (smoke-emitting) right away or if it will otherwise be fun to work with and see how stable the output voltage is. There is a good chance they will try to beat each other to death in this configuration but as long as I isolate the sources to preserve the current sense, I want to do it as a 'science experiment'.
Great video, thank you. Can the on-off button be bypassed easily? I would like to have the current go through without having to press the on button.
Thanks a lot for the detailed review of the module. I've never seen such a precise review of any modules before. After watching the review, I purchased one of these modules, and it worked quite fine. To make it easier to handle, I decided to switch the potentiometers to external ones. Unfortunately, during the desoldering of the existing potentiometers, the metal on the PCB went off. The course of connections is not visible on the PCB, and I don't know where to solder the pins on an equivalent external potentiometer. Could you please locate the locations where each pin for 1K (CC) and 50K (CV) potentiometers should be soldered?
The charging battery part tho is quite impressive for this electronic (simple charging and whatnot) the extra features for only 5 bucks jesus (35w only)
Can I use this to slow down my 12 volt PC case fan speed? Thank you
Your channel is amazing. Are you the same person as Robojax channel?
Hi, thanks.
Hola, i also have one and the LCD is full of characters and no longer works after I simultaneously pressed the two buttons. I don't know if there's any hope of fixing it.
Hello, it may be the connection of the LCD is bad or cracked. I am not sure. Try to press it on the board or check the connection. Good luck.
Hi, i couldn't find this one other than the non-x version, does change its performance?
Hi, Actually these products are not from one source and it is very hard to know which model is doing what.
hi sir, I need to charge car battery, I bought this charger. I put input 21V, 0.5A. Set current pot to lowest settings. Using voltage pot, reduced output voltage to 14.4V. Then short output and rotate current pot increase to 1.0 A. Now I connected my battery to ouput, but moment I do that output voltage start dropping to zero. There is no output. I have to disconnect, connect again, again all same steps and again output voltage starts dropping. Did I miss any step. Please help.
Hello sir how are you plzz tell me about the protection of this device if out put prob tuch between
They is called short circuit protection and if this
Doyle has it I should have shown it. So watch the video .
I have a 4,8V 1500mAh NiCd battery. Would you be so kind to tell the setup needed to charge it? Moreover, how do I know when is fully charged?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, so you have 4 cell 1.2V battery 4x1.2=4.8V. Depending the manufacturer recommendation the charge voltage for each cell might be between 1.45V to 1.55V. Now if we take 1.45V which is lower and safe, then 1.45x4 = 5.48V. So you might set the voltage at 5.48V. Having said that to be sure, please find the datasheet from manufacturer to be sure to set proper voltage. The current should be set to 1/10 of capacity. Your battery is 1500mA ÷ 10 = 150mA. So set the current at 150mA and it will take 10 hours to fully charger the battery.
@@WattHour Thank you very much for your detailed answer. The batteries I have are leftovers from emergency lights with neon tubes which have their charger inside the inverter module. Despite they are old (made in 2008 and 2009) the batteries seem to hold the charge pretty well so I intend to use them as emergency LED lights.
Many thanks again.
Meanwhile, I just finished a diy bluetooth stereo speakers using MH-M38, powered by NiCd battery.
When I want to regulate the current the module turns off, from what I could see it is set to more than 4 ampere, I followed your steps but it did not let me lower the amperage.
this is multi-turn pot. turn it 10 to 15 turns both ways and see. if still doesn't work, then it is defective.
i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account??
I was dumb lost my login password. I love any help you can offer me.
@@dwaynemessiah2446 only way is use ur phone number connected 2 d account if theres any if not then ur done for just keep guessing the pass. (i think google lets you use your actual acc password to reset something if this is a thing on Instagram)
Input voltage 10v
Output voltage 12v 1amp
Efficiency ?
Kindly reply
Everything is in the video . Please watch and if you don’t see your exact voltage look at higher or lower
Efficiency is wrong everywhere; at 32:00 afficiency is not 92,5% but 90% und at 31:08 not 89.2% but 87.5% and 32:08 not 92.5% but 90% and at 34:12 not 92.5% but 91.6% and and and...
I got this product from Amazon. I tested this product to my 12volt tp link wifi router.. after that 10min suddenly automatically drop 12volt to 3volt and increase 2.5 amps. I will damage my router of 2500 rupees i m very disappointed for this one...i don't why this happened..anyone tell about this problem
This Doyle does not reduce current unless your load (router) asks for more than the limit.
hi this converter is in voltage 8-30 out 0.7-30 working current 0.020 mili ampair minimum wrong information about display 0.001 mili ampair...minimum in voltage 8v low voltage display off ..
