SMOOTHIE RECIPE
🍒Smoothie
loose mixed green (fill the mixer until the top lose) baby green mix from Costco
about 6 or 7 banana
1 tbsp. hemp seed
2 glass of water
1 glass of coconut water
2 tbsp. collagen (optional)
🌿ALL PURPOSE CLEANER
1 and a half cup water
1/2 tsp dish soap
10 drops of jasmine or lemon oil
For fall vibes change the essential oils to :
3 drops of cinnamon leaf essential oil
3 drops of pumpkin spice essential oil
3 honey apple essential oil
🌿GLASS CLEANER
50% water + 50% vinegar
or
50% water + 50% rubbing alcohol
Fermented veggies you can use any vegetables the more kind is the better but you have to use cabbage.
Thin slices carrots , reddish, cauliflower, cabbage
Thick slices cucumber, zucchini, pepper
spices : garlic, mustard seeds, bay leaf, black pepper, salt
Ferment it at least 4 hours or overnight. Put them into jars very tightly and cover it with the juice that comes out of the mix, Keep it in the fridge up to 6 months.
For the pork casserole
Thin slices of pork, peas, salt, pepper and garlic
potatoes
First I cook the meat and peas a little over the cook top and once it's halfway done I put it in a casserole dish with the sliced potatoes and bake it on 350 for 45 minutes. When the meat and potatoes start to get brown on the edges it's done.
Marble breakfast cake
6 eggs (7 if you have smaller eggs)
1/2 cup almond milk (or whatever type of milk you have)
1tbsp vanilla flavor
1/4 cup maple syrup
2tbsp ghee
3/4 cup almond flour
3/4 cup gluten free (Namaste brand) flour
1 tsp baking soda
First bit up the eggs until it's foamy (kitchen aid does it very nicely) then add all the rest of the ingrediencies.
Grease the glass dish and pour into mixture. Mix 1/2 cup of maple syrup with 2 and a half tbsps. cacao powder and pour that chocolate mixture over the cake mix.
Bake it for 35- 40 minutes on 350 Fahrenheit

Hi Noemi, thank you for all you do! I have question, if I want to learn more about eating gluten and dairy free. Is there a book you recommend to change eating habits?
I will pin this question let's see who else can recommend something! When we started this diet it wasn't that many books out there but I read the Gut and Phycology Syndrome by Natasha Campbell and that had a good explanation how digestion effected by gluten etc. if you looking for something more of the technical side, I don't know books on that but if that helps we started with finding recipes first for lunch and then for dinner and the breakfast was the last and hardest . We didn't eliminate recipes that we love, more like we replaced it. Once you find recipes that you really like it's easier to stick to it. After binge watching lots of videos from this one to the ones for the previous two months... Your home has really changed and really loving how you have brought the beautiful outdoors into your home, and as you kept adding, I was beginning to wonder if it was going to start looking overcrowded but towards the end of this when you scanned over everything... It was still so cozy with warm vibes of love that definitely shows with how your home looks overall... I have really been trying to implement more 'love' into caring for my home, Like you do, and I am slowly seeing the change of the rest of my family... As we are still in the rental awaiting all the approval from the bank since building prices obviously aren't dropping.

I like what you said about having to clean things you don't use. I did a massive purge on my house this year, now I'm living with things and deciding what else I can get rid of. I was lucky to have two friends help me so I could work through the guilt of throwing things out and donating.

As always a super video ... I love your accent (when you say "widow" instead of "video" or "science" instead of "since" ... 😍 so lovely). As for dish soap - I use 500 ml pump bottles that produce foam, sorry, I don't know how they are called in English. I mix 1 part dish soap with 3 parts water. That's absolutely sufficient in my opinion. This way I save a lot of dish soap since don't have a dishwasher either and I wash my dishes on the go during the whole day.

The best feeling: a clean house to enjoy at the end of the day. I too love making porridge ahead. I put it in a large glass baking dish that has a lid and scoop out and warm up whatever we need. Keep it in the fridge for a few days at least 👌🏻 Enjoyed your video again, thank you for uploading!

I hope you heal well and learn lots of new things. We went grain and sugar free after my husband had 2 major strokes. He was blessed with both healing and an education about food. Once you find the rhythm it isn’t hard. If you have questions, I would be happy to answer them.

Hello Noemi, You made an excellent point about the space between the island and the sink. We did the same thing during our remodel and I’m happy we did. There is slot of congestion with 5 people in my family in that area of the kitchen when prepping or cleaning.
It’s nice to see how your husband and children clean up after themselves, that’s a big help after a long day. I feel like the work never ends. I clean in one spot and they are off making a mess in another spot. But I know I’ll miss it someday. My oldest is going to be graduating from University next year and I don’t know how much longer he’ll be home with us so I’m savoring every moment of this for as long as I can. Thank you for sharing!
