●They ALL came up w/this album- OWN concept, songs, lyrics, production, design, photography, JK directed the vid more "homey"/intimate feeling of all they went thru when the "world stopped"..No more concerts/fanmeets/face to face contact, just memories, kinda going thru depression, not knowing what to do next.. ●Holed up in their rooms (like the rest of us) + finally realizing, the best they can do is to really work hard/be involved even more w/the production of their music (tho they've always written + produced)..They realized our connections are still there, just temporarily blocked..C'mon effective vaccines!!..Love this song😢💜😢
This song is about how they experienced this year so yeah it's literally about covid - or more like how the situation have made them feel and them reflecting on things. First of all notice that this MV is directed by the one and only Jeon Jungkook and actually it's partially filmed in their dormitory (like the scene of them all sitting on the floor/sofa as a group, playing game and eating pizza and the Hobi & Yoongi's rap parts when they are laying on 2 beds - this is Jimin and Hobi's bedroom, they are the only ones currently sharing a room - we have seen glimpses of these in their vlives and shows like Bon Voyage). I agree with you, this is a hmm slower more mellow song, kinda relaxed and I tend to prefer their more emotional songs - like power ballads or harder rap/rock - but this really fits the lyrics which are extremely emotional. And Kookie really did a great job directing this, I loved these symbolic scenes like Tae gazing at the concert stadium while driving and Jin closing his eyes, like he is dreaming and then they are on a stage but there are noone there but them, only army bombs behind them fitting how they had to do online concerts without physical live audience and they have said multiple times how much that affects them. Oh yeah and those harmonies aaaaahhhhh I love how much of them we got in this album, love how their voices compliment each other. I'm very curious of what you think of the rest of the album, it was definitely surprising one and it took me more than one listen to make up my mind about some of the songs. But I'll say that it fits very well the theme of the album and also the current world situation.
I thought this was V & RM room, because of the picture on the wall, the same picture V picked in his B E trailer, a man surfing in the ocean. He said, "That's How He Sees The World" it represent him💜.Remember V sitting in a canoe in the middle of the ocean in The Soop, singing a snippet of Blue-Grey.💜.
“I wonder what they’re talking about specifically wanting to run away from?” ... ummm ... COVID-19. It’s about missing ARMY and wanting to run to the future so we can be together again but through it all, life goes on. You can’t stop it no matter how hard you try or lament what used to be “normal”. The brilliance of this song is that it’s relatable to anything in your life that stifles you and that makes it timeless.
Huge Congratulations to Director Jungkook and BTS made this video and song. So refreshing and full of hope. COVID brought us all down. Yeah! This is a Quarantine Song.💜💜💜

It's such a soothing song. The music and lyrics both. It's very heartfelt. Mellow, calm, and comforting. Perfect for a year that has been very tough and awful and scary for a lot of people. It's a nice feeling to hear this after everything that's happened, like a reassurance that things will eventually be okay. That the world doesn't stop, life goes on and you have to keep going on with it. This year has been tough for me, but I can't even imagine what it's been like for them. We saw a glimpse of it when they were doing their ments at he ON:E concert, how disappointed and frustrated they were. Cancelled tours, promotions for MoTS:7 cut short, no overseas awards shows. I feel so sad that their career and passion was put on hold, not because I'm a fan (yes because of that) but more so because it's a huge part of their life. I really hope that they're doing okay. The scene of the mv in the car, when Taehyung looks at the stadium and then looks upset. Oh man that scene. That scene hurt. Just, yeah. Director JK did so, so, so well in this. All the dorm scenes were so nice and the concert arena. I almost cried when I watched the premiere. Them performing in an empty arena but we, the fans, are still there with them in the form of an ARMY bomb crowd. I hope you have a great day/evening! 💜💜💜 Editing this because I forgot to mention: the harmonies!!!! This song is sung so beautifully! They sound so good. All of them. The chorus is so nice and the rap is so nice and just everything is so nice!!! Ending with the contrasting Tae and Jimin was lovely. Jungkook and Jin were amazing as always. RM's verse was melancholic and nostalgic but still hopeful. And Yoongi and Hobi's were lighter and even more hopeful. Just!!! This song!! I really like it.

Its all about covid..moving on to a better future. I'm a slightly older..haha...rock chicken. But BTS snatched my heart. Def Leppard, G&R, Aerosmith etc is my foundation, but these guys give so much of themselves. I've never seen any groups or bands connect with their fans like they do. They grab you with their voices and they keep you with their characters.
This mv and SONG lyrics are deep.. So relatable with now in these pandemic... They so sincere.. Not too much.. No too show off.. Just showing what they feel as bts group through these pandemic... No worries! Plenty of hard rhythms in the other tracks. The whole album is very directly a chronicle of the current times, and various facets of their COVID quarantine experience. Let’s remember their sold out MOTS World Tour 2020 of 18 cities was cancelled, and they found themselves pacing their rooms. JHope said it’s them being honest at this point as artists.

The moment I saw this video I knew exactly they were speaking of the current Covid limitations on them and the world. I get so confused that other reactors say they wonder what this is about. The pandemic has impacted them the most and they have been vocal in their struggle. So I'm confused about why they are confused.
