I had a camera on our old 890 just extended the light bracket on the spout and mounted it next to the light. Had the screen mounted on the right hand side pillar of the windscreen. Wasn't alot of money and was worth every penny. If you needed to fill trailers full then you could see every corner with a camera

Sorry to say butttt. If your looking for a New SPFH also get a demo from John Deere 8400i. The V opening is bigger from the JD. Dual header drive etc etc. Try it and it will open your eyes.

7:15 wonder what happens if you need to fit a new blade when the existing blades are partly worn down. Cos you can't adjust the new one to align its edge with the old ones?

For the price of these foragers plus running costs,depreciation, wonder how do these ever pay? Claas number in North America, that's not true,its john deere by huge numbers. Sometimes salesman would say anything. Father Phil knows his stuff,he has the experience.

Why do most Irish harvestor drivers fill trailers on the left, where as its usually the right hand side in the UK. My local contractor in Roscommon fills on the right, rare to see it in Ireland.
Comes from the days of direct cut single and double chop harvesters where the cutter head was on the right and grass on the right of it was still standing. I think it was really just habit that never changed to filling on the right when we moved to mowing and wilting. Everyone was used to filling on the left and trailers were setup for it.

19:30 did they say what's that device in front of the middle of the windscreen? Thought it was a light at first but don't think it is. Is it a ground speed radar or something?

@@nigelgribble8736 in ur dreams... ran both side by side... krone far superior in performance... for the drivers stand point the claas was better for maintenance and functionality... but in heavy lumped crop the krone is untouchable
