I wish Amy had worked with Mike when he became a Junior Partner. It would have been great to see her again, and it would have added to the strong woman dynamic at the firm
then everyone would be like Amy vs. Rachel. Pretty sure this crossed the writers' minds, especially how amy was portrayed by the actress so well.
Legal secretaries specialise in the law, they know all about the business and are well acquainted with people in that circle, she'd be entering a completely new field with no idea what she was doing

Actually given how she pronounced the name, I think the implication is that there was a typo and the docket said LOIS Litt, that the person typing it up missed the U in his name.

I was so disappointed that we didn't get to see Amy again, her time was short but she was funny and cool.
Jessica summed up Mike to a T; 'soft and naive'.

This whole direction was promising until Mike ruins it. This is maybe more the direction you'd have expected Mike to go in, rather than being overly attached to the lawyer role. Someone with Mike's talents should've had countless opportunities.
If you've watched the show, you already know how his parents died. It's why he's attached to being a lawyer
