Written Ingredients:
Chicken 1kg
Potato 1/2kg
Onion 3medium
Tomato 4medium
Ghee 1cup
Salt 2tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1tbs
Red Chilli powder 2tsp
Turmeric 0.75tsp
Cumin 1.2tsp
Water 1ltr (4cups)
Green Corriander

Steps:
1. Cook onions with salt and few tablespoons water for 5 to 6 minutes until soft
2. Add ghee and ginger garlic paste and fry for few minutes
3. Add red chilli powder and turmeric/haldi and fry for a few seconds
4. Add chicken and stir
5. Add cut tomatoes, stir and leave to soften by closing lid and cooking for 10 to 12 minutes on medium heat
6. Add potatoes, then add water (1L) and 4 green chillis whole.
7. Cook covered on medium high for 15 -20 min untouched.
8. Reduce heat, check softness of potatoes, add 0.5 tsp roughly crushed cumin and chopped coriander and cook on low covered for 2 min.
9. Serve

I make Alu chicken salun in simple way first fry onion take it out from oil & in hot water leave tomatoes remove skin then blend together in remaining oil ad chicken &ginger garlic paste then fry it chicken smell will be gone , after fry mix other spices like chilli coriander tumeric powder &coock it in one cup water then fry with putatoes & ad water for gravi coock on low heat in last ad one or half tea spoon garam masala powder & green coriander if u like 2 or 4 green chilli I always fry chicken in ginger garlic paste in left over ghee or oil smell will be so good from 🇺🇸
This is better as far as onion desolvement
