@@ba2cinema not gonna lie, it depends on what you wanna do with it.
Most beetles used the 2.5l 5 cylinder, which is a common engine between all vws. Ecu kits are available, and are a good start
As far as suspension and other parts, theres things out there! But nowhere near a golf GTI. The best mod is a carbon ceramic brake kit around $200, probably the largest performance improvement you can hop into

First off, thanks F.I.! The suspension/fitment vids have helped me understand this part of the build much better than other resources utilized. Please make a What Fits An MK5 Jetta vid. I'm new at this suspension/fitment game and I see on your website you sell the Bilstein B14 Coilovers for the MK5 Jetta and you do have wheel/tire packages at great price points, but I'm a bit unsure which flush fitment to go with, as it seems in the gallery, 18x8.5 et 45 and 18x8.5 et 35 are both flush. Huh? 🤔 Just trying to get that wheel/tire fitment right in one purchase and avoid the unfortunate "poke fitment by accident" situation. Also, is there a what fits an MK7 GLI vid in the works? If it matters, specifically the Autobahn trim, as it has the DCC Adaptive Chassis Control. Perhaps that vid can suggest springs you sell, that could work with that setup. Thanks again F.I. for all you do!

@@shotsbyaddison Im currently building mine, 2017 convertible r line spec with a 2.0 diesel TDI and a DSG with my dad, we just put on some new rep wheels, just temporarily, we're gonna move to Enkei or Rotiform, we put in Bilstein and Eibach suspension kits, an engine map to increase HP from 150 to 200, and are now doing a soundsystem and infotainment upgrade with a leather upholstery and a possible Audi RS3 engine swap for it in the future. Its a Volkswagen platform, the limits are only your pockets

Let's hear more about the available powder coating options and price points with wheel purchases at F.I. If this vid doesn't exist within your vid library, can one of the examples be with MK5 Jetta and/or MK7 GLI compatible wheels? I'm interested in cool shades of blue. I looked on the website and was unable to find the powder coating options/colors. The option was brought up briefly in an MK6 showcase vid and I'd be interested in that option. Thanks again F.I.!

Aye my car is the first one featured. The fitment was not great then (2018) but I've got some SSR Vienna Dish wheels waiting for this spring that I'm super excited for and will definitely be posting on fitment industries as well
