We hope you enjoy this weeks episode! If you’re looking for ideas for your own small home office, hopefully you find some inspiration here! As always, thanks for watching and supporting our channel. With love, Bryce & Rasa
Seconded. Would love to incorporate a few of these ideas into a potential design, but definitely need to see the surrounding build in a little more detail. Thanks as always for producing such lovely content, Bryce & Rasa
Thanks for posting this is a great idea of using the content of your channel by presenting it in a collected way based on topic. Just a suggestion I was thinking that making a playlist the source of each segment used would be a great way for us to revisit some of these episodes. Seeing them again made me want to revisit some of the videos it would be a nice to be able to quickly link to them. Thanks again 🙂
This is a brilliant video and I agree that it's great to see a carefully collated group of ideas around a specific topic. We can see that it's a lot of work, in different ways to going filming but absolutely think it's worth the effort. Perhaps you could do one on clever storage or multi-use furniture? Also, we're wondering if the pun at the end was deliberate or not? "Working from home isn't going anywhere!" 😊 Btw, your programme is so good it deserves a place on TV but I watch it every week anyway, without fail. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey Bryce. Totally in love with your channel. What’s the chance you could add some more “features “ videos? For example. Types of flooring used. Interior wall materials used. And tips for using light weight materials, that help your tiny house meet overall weight requirements. My dream someday is to have you interview me in my new, home built tiny. In NSW Australia. Keep up the great work bud. And keep the videos coming .
That removable / adjustable swing table used in motor homes /caravans is really brilliant. Not only multi functional but can work in almost any room from a loft to a double story.
What a great compilation of so many good ideas. So good to have them all in one place - when it's time to build my tiny home I can just come to this video to get inspiration for the home office... Thanks for putting it together 🙂
Hi Bryce and Rasa...I remember all these offices...it depends on the person on what they need for an office space...love that fold away desk and the one with the table attached to the wall her arm chair looked so cozy....the office where your feet touch the ledge is genius... all different designs all unique ...Be Safe Be Blessed ❤
I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't a new place in todays video but within seconds I was absolutely drawn in. Such incredible and fascinating designs, all such different approaches for different needs. Absolutely fantastic video ❤
Having a small office in these tiny houses is important. I work remotely sometimes so building that in would be great space. The few last videos over the months gave me some ideas, especially the ones in the loft, bedroom and standing ones from the steps. Really cool thanks for sharing Bryce and Rasa, have a great weekend ❤
This was a great episode! Thank you. I manage several public studios each week so need a standing desk that folds away to make room for the important art construction. Great ideas here, Rasa and Bryce!
Thanks for this review of work-at-home spaces. I've decided to move things around in my home and this just gave me some great ideas of how to plan out my workspace! Really nice to be reminded of some of these lovely homes again too!
great summary of ideas I've seen on your other videos. Having lived in small spaces--not tiny homes, but small--having dedicated by flexible use space for office is a priority.
I was thinking - photo/video editing - they are going to pull out some monitors! The height of the laptop is very un-ergonomic unfortunately, I wish it was possible like that.
I loved the idea of the fold down table attached to the wall, with the armchair AND the long pull out desks! So easy to put away for the day! Loved this video- of course I love all of them! ❤
A excellent topic to focus on. Do hope we see more design topic type videos on Living Big In A Tiny House in future. It's very helpful and inspiring to see many solutions to a common design problem all together.
My dream has been a pull-out "drawer" work space the length of the kitchen counter with a drawer face that flips down to reveal in-process art projects I don't have to put away each time. I also want a second one that extends lengthwise like at 3:44 in front of the living room window since I sometimes have multiple projects in various stages of drying (and it's nice to have a pretty view while working ; - ). Having a less expensive lifestyle that allows more time for creative activities is one of the things I find most inspiring about tiny house living. Thanks for another great video! : - )
more of this please! This could help the not tiny home people too, like those that have a tiny office space or are working from a hotel room (like I am right now). The biggest thing for me is getting the screens up off the desk. I use a Roost stand for my laptop, a portable second monitor on a tripod, and a portable mouse and keyboard. The best part is I can break it down and fit it all in a backpack, and set it up whereever.
Creativity is only limited by the person. These individuals didn't see limitations in their space. But an opportunity to think outside the box. So, incredible and beautiful office designs were created. And, I got to see them, enjoy them, and be inspired by them. Thank you for these videos.
This compilation is a WONDERFUL idea! I've seen sooooooo many small spaces that are way too pristine, minimalistic... it's like people don't have jobs or hobbies! OH remember that very tall woman in a very tiny house who had all her watercolour things tucked away in the ceiling? that was brilliant too!
I'm guessing maybe you're talking about Kari in this episode: Modern Architecturally Designed Tiny House With Amazing Hidden Shower. Her art was beautiful and so was her house. I especially liked that she had an elevator bed. : - )
@@bellaluce7088 pretty sure this is the right video, but again, my brain played tricks on me, and I remembered something that wasn't there... 🙄 Still, it's a great built, and I loved rewatching it 😁 thanks!
@@cloverhighfive She had lots of art in the ceiling-adjacent storage loft so you weren't far off! : - ) I liked the way her tiny was parked in *front* of her friend's house yet didn't look out of place. I agree it was a good one. Thanks for prompting me to revisit it too. : - )
Love this focus on home office space options! Great idea to pull this from your full house vids. Gotta say, I was gobsmacked by that music studio! Holy cow, that was brilliant! And I loved the one with the foot well. How clever! Seems there are no limits in tiny houses with a bit of planning and creativity! 😊
There are so many brilliant ideas in this. I especially love the one with the shelf for your feet and with a view! I have dreamed of owning my own tiny house for years now. My dream is my own tiny house on my own land that I turn into a permaculture garden, lol. Idk if I’ll ever get there as I only survive on a disability pension but what’s the point of dreaming if you don’t dream big? Right? Watching this sent me down the rabbit hole on this channel because it is my all time favourite channel for Tiny’s. I rewatch heaps of them and I still enjoy them and find many great ideas that I look forward to including in a design for a tiny house of my own one day. I rewatched Bryce’s tour of their own tiny house from 4 years ago (the gorgeous blue and white one) and really enjoyed it again. I totally love the sacred geometry and plan to include some somewhere in my own dream design although I don’t suppose I’d be lucky enough to have inlaid paua shell. Then again it’s my dream and when you dream you can include anything, right? Watching it also reminded me of Bryce’s book, “Living Big in a Tiny House”. It wasn’t available anywhere except NZ when I first watched the video. I was so excited by the idea of getting it until I discovered that, with postage from New Zealand to Australia, it would cost me $200! It was so disappointing to realise that this book is out of my reach. I guess that the reason it is so expensive compared to all of the other similar books I saw, is because it was a only limited run print so there are not many of them. Perhaps I’ll have to see if my local library has it 🤷🏼♀️🤞🏻
Big Ideas For Small Home Offices..Amazing, best video.. very useful and beneficial.. success always..God Bless You..greetings from Indonesia's most traditional gold seeker..🇧🇩🇲🇨🌼🌼❤✋👍👍
Many thanks! I already know all videos, but this compact theme is fabulous: most nomads are remote intellectual workers. For me, this is the most important subject in TH. I've two fixed desks in mine, one of them in the home office!
This video popped-up in my recommendations yesterday, but I was like, "Nah... Don't wanna watch that. I'm not working." But well, for the entire day yesterday, I had spent hours browsing for the perfect desk for my laptop and stuff... I live in a small apartment (I mean, normal size, not itsy bitsy tiny), both me and my husband don't really have a computer desk. When we entered the apartment, it was already full of furniture's, soo... My husband turned a huge dining table into a computer table and then we split the 4 chairs in many places and use some of them as mini tables. LOL So, we don't have a dining table where people would sit around and have dinner together. My husband mostly eats in front of his computer by himself, and I would just sit on the sofa while holding my plate. For months, I had survived without a laptop desk. Sometimes I even use the big TV screen as an additional screen for my laptop, so I was kinda enough with that... But yesterday I was like... F it...! I'm gonna get a cheap desk! Then I managed to rearrange my living room to make space for the desk that I want to buy. I had to push the gigantic sofa (which can turn into a king size bed) really close to my husband's gigantic computer slash dinner table, and luckily I could fit the big cat tree between the sofa and the window. Although I had to dissemble one part of the cat tree because it was on the way. But it was a part that my cat never uses at all. So, I think I will be fine with a new laptop desk added to our not-so-big living room space... Anyway, I still would like to watch this video even though I'm not working, but... I do need an office for studying and stuff. So maybe I'll find an inspiration here...
I love all the collections from yours of everyone's unique office Deck .. especially zisky👍 n rolling Deck too... All superb.. 😋🙂🤗👍🙌 Stay Safe and Stay Blessed All 🤗👍
Until I got laid off two weeks ago after 25 years with the firm, I'd been working from home for 15 years. It's not a tiny house, but our 9' x 12' (~3 x 4m) office also sleeps 3 on two Murphy beds, is our yoga space, has our exercise bike and punching bag, and has a model railroad. The key is multi-use. Think like a yacht designer and there's so much that's possible!
love the focus on comparing one aspect of the tiny homes. are you going to do one on different features: bathrooms, kitchen storage and design, outdoor areas, even loft designs (eg, attached dual lifts, headroom lifts, roof access, single/dual stairs v ladders, etc?
Thank you for showing these awesome setups again in one video! As a musician I would need the bigger home studio with piano setup but my husband needs a good open and close desk /table idea for doing large jigsaw puzzles without taking over the whole Tiny house for weeks while he searches for that one piece that’s driving him crazy!!! 😜😜
Great episode R & B. Compilations of smart ideas focused on areas of a tiny house/living area prove to be a font of inspiration like this episode. Well done (as usual).

Go glad you covered this topic as many people work from home now, as myself. I would prefer to have a loft dedicated as an office . My home computer cannot be used for my job because of security, so I have two systems. Yes, its a lot of cables! All these people in this video are so imaginative on how they resolved their work space. Nice!
Great video, thanks 😊. This is something that has been bothering me with tiny houses. I love the concept of a tiny house for living, but when your hobbies are IT, electronics, gaming, 3d printing, astronomy, it's always a challenge to find space for all that... When I get to build mine in a few years, I'm pretty sure I'll end up with a big barn along side the house for all that... 😖
I work from home but am required to have a dedicated office space that can be locked so had to get a 2 bedroom home. Would love to get a tiny house with a separate office tiny house.
I'd love a space where my feet can just dangle, because I do get fidgety and kicking my legs back and forth would probably relieve that. But then I remember all the 'ergonomic' advice about having your feet flat on the floor, and I worry that I'd be doing the wrong thing.
If you have to assemble and disassemble, then it isn't a dedicated setup. I lived for awhile in 2 rooms and could never leave a project in place when not actively working on it. If I was working on the same table that I used for eating, then I had to fold the project or whatever and put it away in order to use the same table space for eating. This gets old fast, and doesn't fit into a "professional" work space.
Can anyone point me in the direction of the green velvet and timber interior tiny home from Melbourne? I cannot find the video and it's a beautiful home
