once it drives off, the ramp swings back up. It won't be able to get back! Not to mention the ramp being a massive trip hazard! You would have to pick it up/adjust it every time.
Thank you for your comment. It is possible to do this, but the route is interrupted and the robot has to be ordered to the docking station twice. (Status before the last update)
... So it goes one way and then can't come back. Also when the robot goes around it will inevitably push it which might put it in a less ideal position.
This isn’t the best solution. Plexiglass, remember, is see through. The drop off sensors will still function normally and back it off. Plus, you need to have it balanced and to be fit to your floor.
Got for Christmas asked to return. This is not a viable solution for something that is supposed to be automated. It’s not the products fault it’s just my house isn’t built for this type of product.
I lost faith in humanity and 1 minute of my time
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What a beatiful, discreet and low maintenance solution.
Jesus

Thank you for your comment. Yes, that is unfortunately the case with this cheap variant. If you want to avoid this, you have to mount a threshold.
you may want to think of another plan.
Why would you go through all that effort when it's easier to pick up the robot and place it in the other room and tell it to clean??

Thank you because I may actually try this with my new Roborock.
Thank you, this was very useful, now I know It's a stupid idea. No, really, you gotta have bad examples to have any hope at improving.

Yea.... no

thank you for your advice, yes according to this transparent is not ideal. I find it too bulky for permanent mounting. Greetings
Isn't there a better way?
you can of course make fixed approach ramps, but this is more cost-intensive and must be adapted individually for each height. greetings
I've used a small carpeted rubber mat and placed over my transition strip.
It works, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea

They should just illegalize thresholds and make all the floors connected and flat
this is so imbecilic, I want my 1 minute back
they should label this as a "life hack"... useless.
Yeee no
Nope. Defeats the purpose of having a robot. I may as well clean the floor myself, which is not a pleasant thought.
Doesnt make sense ))
was ne miese lösung. soll man jedesmal den scheiß auslegen?
🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
I read the reviews on all the vacuums. They all suck.
You could also just carry it lol. Your method is NOT a solution.
