  • First-time user of Leslie's Patch-it to fill holes in pool plaster. The big takeaway is to weigh the water and product for best mixing and installation.

How did it go after a year of applying?

Might be nice if you showed how you actually filled the cracks!

Appreciate the video man. I'm in a similar situation with my parents pool. I have to drain the water first then I plan on doing a chlorine wash then do some patch ups. I have a few questions please:
    1. Did it end up changing a whiter color when fully cured?
    2. How long did you have to let it cure before refilling the pool with new water?
    3. How long has it been since you repatched it and has it been holding up well?
    4. Can you state again what ratio of water to plaster you mixed to make the paste work better for you?

You are welcome. I know when I started looking I did not find much help.
      1. About the same and actually one patch is a little darker than the other.
      2. I think the instructions say 24 hours but you have to keep the patch moist.
      3. A few months now it is holding. No one notices the repair except me.
      4. So the ratio is in the instructions. However, make sure you weigh the amounts on a small scale. I would also mix up a "fun piece" and see how it flows and such. Maybe make a fun sculpture.
