My cat is outside and it's raining a little bit so I decided to call him in. Instead of my cat showing up lots of turkeys showed up and a couple of deer but no cat.
65 yo lady here, I live in the mountains in Washington state and I have the same problem! The turkeys and my cat are friends, my cat follows them into the vine maple trees all the time. About 5 years ago, I walked around the side of my house to find my cat and a baby deer touching noses. I actually got a photo of them. We are blessed to live amongst these beautiful animals. Love your video! Subbed. ❤
I would just love to live in a place where wild animals show up. I love animals and even more so love seeing them in their natural habitat. Where I live the investors keep building and taking all the woods away. Makes me so mad.❤
@@staceyshaffer180 I’ve never been to Levenworth before, but I’ve seen it on tv. The whole area is beautiful and so colorful that it takes my breath away. Thanks so very much for your kindness. 😘♥️✌🏼
LOL. Don't be offended, the pitch of your "here, kitty, kitty, kitty," sounds very similar to a turkey gobble. Listen to it. 😆 I think that's why the turkeys rushed up, only to discover they were pranked!
When I was a kid and not allowed to curse my sister had idea to say gobble gobble instead of curse words. Like shut the gobble gobble up you gobble gobble. After 1 hour of gobble gobble in every sentence one of us would say ya’ll lets not say gobble gobble anymore. Then next day we’d do it again. 😂
I live in northern Ontario, Canada, and this looks like our backyard. We have 4 wild turkeys and lots of deer living on our property behind our home. The turkeys are cute until they chase after the mallard ducks or start to squawk outside the bedroom window at 6 in the morning!
Amazing. Absolutely amazing that someone has the intelligence to shoot a video in the eminently appropriate landscape mode. Well done Madame. BBC NATURE documentary quality.
Washontonians. I'm 77.Lived in WA.until 5 years ago. Now in NY. I also never saw turkeys in Wa. But for sure I never saw Turkey Buzzards until I came to New York. ! I also saw your kitty in the video. Oh I bet he loves investigating those woods. Hope he outsmarts preditors.
Ive been camping with 9 cats for 7 years. I trained them to stay by camp, and they All come in for the night at supper time. Once in a while I have to call in a slacker.😊
Yup!....I saw it too, at around 4:38 time code, extreme upper left of screen as you pan up the hill from the deer. You should make a series of these 'hide & seek' videos, similar to "Where's Waldo?"🤣
At about 4:40 a black cat is slinking through the brush on the low rise. Sorry to be a buzzkill. I live in a small rural town on the central coast of California. Although opossums, skunks, and raccoons are plentiful, they seem to not be a problem for cats, coyotes are a whole different story. They can kill a cat or other small animal very quickly. Please exercise caution, as there are often predators about in the woods. Nice video.
A short click of the tongue is how I ask my cats to come in, over many years now. They always respond quickly or less guickly. Its the relationship with the cat that makes the difference. They understand respect.
Lots of wildlife in my neck of the woods too. Passed a flock of HUUUGE turkeys, most were probably 3x the size of the ones in your video...VERY well fed! I started doing the turkey gobble noise, and a bunch came running toward me, including a huge Tom with his tail feathers all up, it was stunning!
You lucky duck. What beautiful surroundings. I live in the middle of a big city, between two sidewalks. So when I see this ... I am so jealous. Enjoy your day.
Your area looks the same as ours.....turkeys, deer, dogs & bears...Oh My! 🙃 I taught all my cats through the years to come when I whistle 😙 🙃.....it has never failed. Happy Mom's day. ☮️💖🌻
We used to live in Morgantown, WV. In our neighborhood we had deer, turkey’s, squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, beavers, 100 species of birds, etc. Our indoor cats loved it. We built them a 4 season sun room and they’d sit there and watch all of nature parade around them.
What a perfect back yard for an indoor/outdoor cat! Maybe he is checking his trapline. That's what my Dad always used to say when our boys decided to spend the night out.
I can't imagine the deer and turkeys not running away. The deer where I am run if you even breathe. They are so beautiful. I do t see the turkeys any more. But I do hear coyotes....
It’s so funny that we moved from the burbs ( pop. Of 74,000) to farm country ( pop. Of 5,400) and haven’t seen a single deer in the past 4 years. We use to have them in our yard and across the street in the swampy areas. We were close to a major highway too.
It's cool the deer and turkey feel safe, I grew up in a very rural area, now I'm much older, my mom still lives there bur now she has a few neighbors and there are subdivisions around them, she has a bunch of deer that act like yours but the whippoorwill's have left.
What a beautiful backyard!💚 I think you won the turkey calling contest, much to their confusion. And, such good vibes to have that deer stay around so long! 🍀✌️😸
That's exactly what I had in NJ. all creatures knew my voice.... that sound u made sounds a bit like turkey talk. Are u Snow White??? all the animals come to u!!! ❤❤
Eight years ago I bought my now house and it's in the woods. There were wild pheasants in the holler and my three giant dogs ran them off. Never seen them since.
Haha - I didn't know it was almost Easter since the Christmas stuff was still up. I get it, though. 😁 I live in the country, too. You never know who is going to show up in the yard...or leave their calling card poop. I saw the cat at 4:37, as well. Little fooler - sneaking along the ridge like that. I see the deer are totally used to the cat.
4:37 there is your cat, upper left corner
good eye.
Anything that moves, to a hunter, immediately gets attention. Look with “soft eyes.”
[Edited] The deer looks at the cat when it moves
Eagle eye! Very nice!
Yeah, I caught it too. But then again, I’m also a long time cat parent.
Everyone but the cat, all present and accounted for. The entire forest. Except the cat.😹
Cat in upper left corner. The deer saw it.
😂😂😂😂😂 "the entire forest"
That's very telling of the cat's stubborn nature...wild animals come to you before a cat will, lol!
😂
My cats always come when I call them!
My cat came when I called him.
Yep a stinker!
Yup!!! Typically kitty!! But I love ‘em!!

I have a similar situation with squirrels in my Olympia neighborhood 😂

I saw the naughty kitty slink past near the deer 😂
I’d rather watch nature at its best thanks for sharing.
That is the local search party.. They know the land well...
Well, obviously they believe they’re all named kitty. A true kitty answers no call unless they think there’s something in it for them.🤷🏼♀️🤣
like dinner...turkey, maybe?
Turkeys, “We’re just passing through, ma’am.” Deer, “I’m just interested in all the activity and here comes the darn cat.” Great video, loved it! 🤗
Turkeys? No, that's obviously a fine flock of cats.
LOL. Don't be offended, the pitch of your "here, kitty, kitty, kitty," sounds very similar to a turkey gobble. Listen to it. 😆 I think that's why the turkeys rushed up, only to discover they were pranked!
My father called the cats just like that. He's from Iowa.
I thought so too.
Very true! :D
"Are we being punk'd??" - Turkeys, probably
crow calling where the cat is.My cat got out and I found her following the crows calls.
Good plan. Crows are tattle tales.
Same! One of my cats got out of the catio and I found him because a crow was perched above him screeching.
At least a couple of sasquatches haven't come stomping through .. Yet 😯
Who knows maybe there was one hiding there
I just saw your kitty creeping around😂😂
At another 4:35

Haha ditto on Lake Huron…😂🇨🇦 last year it was coyotes…now turkeys have moved in
Well I think that you must be a DISNEY PRINCESS! Multiple deer and a dozen turkeys... Love this 🖖😼😜
“Here kitty, kitty”
Wildlife: hey we heard there is food up there 😅
I’m in Ontario Canada with 5 acres….my mom yells for her orange tabby “cheddar”. All the critters come running 🤣🤣‼️🤦🏼♀️
Hey if someone's advertising Cheddar ya can't blame em haha
"kitty kitty kitty"
"m'am, did you mean 'gobble gobble'?"
4:36 Top left... the cat came back!
Good eye!
Deer, "What am I- chopped liver?"
Amazing. Absolutely amazing that someone has the intelligence to shoot a video in the eminently appropriate landscape mode.

What a magical place to live ❤
Very cool share! Thank you
Your cat is doing to you what mine does to me. Its her favorite hobby to make me look goofy in front of people. 😁

That is so cool. Living in the country is the very best living. You can always grow your own food. 😊😊😊
Just like at our house there are Deer, Turkey, Rabbits. Quail, Goats running everywhere, Juat beautiful!🤗❤

You do a really good turkey call while calling the cat! This is adorable!
Who are you, Dr. Doolittle?
No, just a retired Disney princess.
Kitty heard and will come, eventually.
Yup!....I saw it too, at around 4:38 time code, extreme upper left of screen as you pan up the hill from the deer. You should make a series of these 'hide & seek' videos, similar to "Where's Waldo?"🤣
I used to call the puppies in the same way!!! 8 puppies would run to me! …. Brought a smile and a tear to my face to remember!!!… Sweet video……
How beautiful
It made me laugh out loud. Thanks for sharing!

I love wild turkeys! I would have loved to have lived in a rural, wooded area. ❤
I love hearing them in the distance.
Hysterical 😻😻😻🤣🤣🤣
The turkeys ran over to help you find your kitty! LOL. So cute.
They think you are calling them to eat!!!😊
4:36 I think I've seen a kitty
They do it because they know they can. ❤

Wow bạn có đàn gà Tây thật đáng yêu ❤️👍.
A nibble box really does the trick. Something different and a loud jiggle box.
They all want to be fed!❤
Turkey are like "hold on lady, we know where she is, right up here".
Wonderful to see all of those animals
😂 This Would Be Me ... 😂 Calling The Wild Animals.... Communing With Nature.... 🥰

I’m having trouble sleeping tonight; this was a very relaxing video. Thank you.
Cats don't come when you call them, they only come when they're INTERESTED 😂❤

Awe that’s heaven right there ❤
I had a laugh, as the way you called your cat, actually sounds like a turkey call. Lol
So I'm walking thru some Arkansas woods and I kept hearing this rustling going on and then there must of 2:12 been a hundred turkeys.
