@@ModularKnight the welds look more than strong enough to handle this kind of use yall are really over exaggerating the power its max 100 pounds stop being drama queens
That is some gnarly welding. I admire your enthusiasm, but it's way past time to develop welding skills. Where I come from, most of the cheerleaders could pass a welding test, so maybe I am overly critical. There is no better skill to develop if you want to play with steel.
You're telling me that's like a 3,000 lb bow you're full of s*** that's enough to put a piece of popcorn through a 4-in thick piece of hardened steel there's no way you're generating that much power
So again; you get one shot at a time and need a Jack to reload? This isn’t a battle weapon in any way. You’d get one shot off and it’s all over for you.
Zero chance you’re getting 1000lbs of force let alone 7/1….when the rebar only flies 30 feet. If those are 100lb each you have massive losses in the system
What were you welding with? A microwave?
Yeah, after I spotted that I was thinking remote trigger needed on that drill
That’s for a really big fucking zombie that won’t die haha.
Right. Zombies 😅
That's some Mad Mack type shit, awesome.
Good thing you filmed + posted this, your health insurance will use it to deny your emergency surgery claims
If those springs tension with the force you claim, that thing is a D E A T H T R A P
@@ModularKnight yeah not really its like 100 pounds of tension and that cable can probably hold upwards of 500 or more atleast
@@Wemissjericho brother it's not the cable I'm worried about, did you see those welds
@@ModularKnight the welds look more than strong enough to handle this kind of use yall are really over exaggerating the power its max 100 pounds stop being drama queens
@@Wemissjericho no they don't, no we're not, no it isn't, and again, we're not
Hell Yeah Brother
Make a welder for your stuff using jumper cables and a car battery and some welding rods from Lowe's
Nice work, would like to see u fire actual bolt from a ballista or some sort, and some dephte video,, keep up good vids
I've done a lot of testing with springs, and calibrating them.
Looks like you need to replace one of those springs.
Those welds are enough for me to never want to see this in person. It’s ok to compensate for lack of measurements with welding but… not like that…
If u got thoes from a trampoline I’m even more impressed
I was wincing the whole video hoping the springs dont break loose hold...😮
Homamde, is that a town in Turkey?
Lol
Good job 🎉
Thank man! ^-^

Now, if you can convince a deer to position itself in front of that contraption.........🤣🤣
Dude you're gonna be able to launch a bolt through a fucking building
War gods told me to make one too this morning.
Did you obey the Gods?
That's awsome man have fun and be safe 🤟
engineering without much physics is really dangerous. The weakest link makes this really dangerous for everyone.
Watch your face winding that up, then again wouldn't matter be so instant 😂
We taking out elk with this one
I believe the term your looking for is ballista

I too want to see a 1000kg of force on these welds where the springs are attached.
The arm bones connected to the...
Rust. Rust is how it works
Seeing it up close like that give me a fear that strings will break😆
But i know they are strong enought to endure it
Wire cable - not a string.
If you're going to be an inventor, call it by its name. 😂

This is how ppl lose fingers!
Those weld are sketch. Do not stand anywhere near that death trap
