@@ModularKnight yeah not really its like 100 pounds of tension and that cable can probably hold upwards of 500 or more atleast

Make a welder for your stuff using jumper cables and a car battery and some welding rods from Lowe's

I've done a lot of testing with springs, and calibrating them.

Those welds are enough for me to never want to see this in person. It’s ok to compensate for lack of measurements with welding but… not like that…

That is some gnarly welding. I admire your enthusiasm, but it's way past time to develop welding skills. Where I come from, most of the cheerleaders could pass a welding test, so maybe I am overly critical.
There is no better skill to develop if you want to play with steel.

You're telling me that's like a 3,000 lb bow you're full of s*** that's enough to put a piece of popcorn through a 4-in thick piece of hardened steel there's no way you're generating that much power

So again; you get one shot at a time and need a Jack to reload? This isn’t a battle weapon in any way. You’d get one shot off and it’s all over for you.

Zero chance you’re getting 1000lbs of force let alone 7/1….when the rebar only flies 30 feet. If those are 100lb each you have massive losses in the system
