- We're back at AMS Performance for part 2 of the twin turbo R8 build. This time, we take a look at the progress made thus far, and learn a little more of the nitty gritty that goes into an AMS build like this. Only one more week and we'll get to see this monster start up for the first time!

@@markg1495 yeah man really well said, and that’s why the channel has continued to grow. Kyle is a car nut and a half but he’s also patient, has his priorities straight, and basically everything you said x2.
These techs landed their dream job. A shop with that much innovation, knowledge, ability to design/fabrication on that level, and run that well (cleanest, most organized shop I’ve ever seen) is a unicorn
And they all drive lambos to work in the snow!
They are definitely on top of their game!

It's nice to see the upgrades being made to the trans-axle. They are not just slapping turbos on a stock drivetrain and calling it done. It looks like a comprehensive upgrade. It should last many miles.
No! your audi should have 1320 hp and not one less! 🚀

One of my bestfriends still owns my 3rd GTR that had the AMS kit installed since 2015. I was the second owner and that kit for the GTR from AMS is reliable and bulletproof. It has seen 90k miles of 1200hp. Currently at 123k miles.
Short shaft is the weak link because it can’t wind up like the longer one....it’s got no where to go ....so it breaks....make it thicker and it will probably just shear the splines next....super tuff steels help ...with heat treatments....the longer the shaft , the more it can twist and absorb the shock. Much like a torsion bar. Cheers .

@9:27,, "it's an unbelievable difference,," that's why many shops are afraid of, refuse to work on AUDI AND it why owning an AUDI [as is the case with most European cars] requires you had best have deep pockets or be as smart and savvy about those cars as the guys at AMS Performance!
