Their tac vests are the same as all of our K9 handlers. I will put it on the list to have another K9 handler go over their vest. Just recorded a video of a cruiser too. Thanks.
I imagine it's the same, the only difference would be the type of uniform that they wear, their keys being modified so that way all they have to do is hit a button and the door for the k9 cancel I open and they will carry a dog whistle on them. For the sheriff's office near me, they wear a different type of uniform so that way when they go into the woods, no gear or equipment will snag on any branches or trees as they are running through the woods.

I know K9 wears the tac vests which are so much better than a regular duty belt for your back especially. Do the other deputies get a choice and/or is it something the Sheriff is looking into? It seems like Departments all over the country are switching at a fast pace(which is great in my opinion).
All of our deputies that are not in specialty units wear the belts. It could be something our Sheriff is looking into, but I don't know all of the secrets!
2 sets - I can't physically get my hands close enough to be cuffed (I was a SO deputy for a year and had to be cuffed to train others) so they had to use two sets, or what I call "athlete cuffs" where it's just a longer chain between.

Does this agency issue your gear, can you buy the gear, if you can buy it, then what is the regulations in regards to buying your own gear such as your duty belt, does ask to be basket-weave, plain, nylon? And what is the agency's regulation in regards to the service weapon? Is it issued or can you buy your own service weapon? The reason why I ask is because the sheriff's office near me makes you buy your own gear, and the only thing that is issued to you is a uniform and a vest.
That collar camera looks extremely uncomfortable and like it probably gets in the way a lot. I feel like the ones that mount to your belt of front of your shirt would be much better.
I now work in security dispatch and I am taser certified. What series do they carry and what is the feet on the cartridge 35ft? I go through handcuffing, first aid, CPR, taser, gang awareness, active shooter, ect. :)

Not really common to Patrol Officers. SWAT would be more in control of setting off & diffusing explosives. This isn't really what civilians need to know about. Only for trained professionals.

Personal choice, I believe (outside of specialty units), but I will confirm and correct myself if this is not the case!
People with longer arms usually go for thigh holsters whereas people with average sized arms usually prefer a waistband holster
