idk i love how everyone has familiarity due to kickass. I always loved the prodigy, so when kickass came out and i heard this i freaked out. I see the song very different now, i see the song as 'redemption', like in the kickass movie he wanted his redemption to be that he became a superhero that saves people and here in the comments you see people stating how they want to move away start a new life to this song. To me through-and-through this song means "stand up and start your redemption"

Nah, more an homage to the Chemical Brothers, which was probably Howlett's idea for it in the first place!
A band I was in, wrote a track to sound like some label mates we had on our promoter's little label in Norwich. Absolute fact this, we played the song at a show, saying it was a cover of a track by them (it obviously wasn't, but they didn't know!). They genuinely believed it to be one of theirs so much that when we finally confessed to them, they asked us to do a rough demo. So in essence, we wrote Sods Law a new tune, purely on the whim to take the piss!!
