Good video...I was with you at Winchester in 1984 Tobrook Platoon but damaged my knee in training so was medically discharged "Broke my Hart" then the year after broke my back in a motorbike accident. Just glad to see you went on to serve your time well. I joined up as My father was WO2 3Li and I had always wanted to follow in his footsteps. Like I said Good video

If your father was Mike Vague then I served alongside your father. He was a good soldier,a good instructor and had a great sense of humour. But above that,he was a good man.

Congratulations on a great career and a lovely family. You must be so proud of them and they of you. 20 years Army Medical Service, was attached 2 LI in 2003 in Iraq - worked with a few of the Bugle Platoon lads who were on the ground as riflemen; great Regiment, good times.

I've fond memories of being a 16 year old bandsman at Winchester. At 18 I was less fond of Palace Barracks, Belfast during the general strike.
and even less of Derry. I took the rough with the smooth but my mates at Hyde park took more rough than I did. Bless them.

Just had to write a comment on such a lovely presentation I was a scaly back and worked with the infantry but my days were later than yours by the looks Though most things stay the same especially your mates and on the drink and constantly trying to stay dry and keep your kit clean I could go on forever!😂😂😂👍
