    Yes ma’am. I’ve been trying to tell “them” that hair growth is internal. I started taking vitamin D3 + K2…10,000iu a day of D3. Plus I started taking collagen peptide powder/hydrolyzed collagen powder (unflavored bone broth powder daily). Then I started with a tablespoon of liquid silica just for that extra boost in my water;my hair grew like a weed in 2 months. That collagen is the truth. My right knee, ankle and bottom of my left foot were in constant pain. I couldn’t hardly rebound anymore (I have the bellicon and that’s the softest thing going). The collagen and bone broth powders took care of all the pain. For the cherry on top, I finally got my diet in order; whole food!!! No sugars and carbs only from green veggies. What a difference all of that has made for my rebounding, hair growth, skin & I’ve lost so much weight and I’m still loosing. Thank you for these workouts. They’re the perfect length.

      Me too sis! Everything you said here minus the collagen and silica soooo I will try seeing the wizard about that collagen after a bit more research then check out that silica 😁 hooray for you though 🎉 this hair growth and thickness I have is beautiful...I just leave it alone and mist it with aloe...no oils to very minimal oils..#winning

      @@dandeelion I’ll have to rewatch the video. 😂 been a year. But hair loss tends to be something internal. An issue with the gut based on the foods we eat. Yes hairstyles can damage the hair but when we start loosing hair and it’s not a hairstyle that caused it , it’s internal. Besides the super nice hair, and when I think it can’t get better, all forehead lines are gone. Not one wrinkle and natural glowy skin and I’ve noticed, recently, that I’m not ashy when I get out of the shower. I’ll see what the cold weather gives. When I drink water I put a half serving in my water these days. Collagen is the glue that holds us together. Besides hair and skin, you’ll see all kinds of improvements especially the joints.

      @@TheePrettyGirlSwag I so much agree. It all starts from the inside so true. Even speaking/ giving yourself positive affirmations does wonders. Telling your body thank you and showing yourself love goes the distance. I'll look into collagen. Again, thanks 👍🏾

My hair was super dry, but my new loctician has been helping me find a new regimen for moisture etc. I use aloe water and jojoba oil along with sweet almond oil. Hey i actually have been dealing with breakage off and on for years as well. I will be going to get blood work because i came across another video where a woman was dealing with and it was due to low iron! I was wondering if the breakage is still something you deal with or has it gone away since the iron and vitamin d pills ? Thank you for your insight

    • @BodyByCamz
      @BodyByCamz  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes mine was due to low iron and I was diagnosed as anaemic.
      Since I’ve been taking the iron supplements I haven’t had any breakage yet! Usually winter time is when I experience it due to lack of sun I think so I’m going to be mindful to start taking my vitamin d again (as I stop in the summer due to excessive sunlight) and then I’ll have a better indication. But for right now my roots are full and flourishing. No breakage or thinning which is wonderful!

  • @candyanna1506
    @candyanna1506 Před 2 lety +13

    I recently went to get a retwist and there was root breakage scattered everywhere. I have hair similar to yours, really dense 4b-4c so I was totally confused as to why this was happening but your video has helped me a lot. I am also anemic and I’ve only just started to take my pills again so hopefully that will help. I also have decided to stop getting styles every retwist in hopes the low manipulation will help. Thanks so much for your info!

    • @BodyByCamz
      @BodyByCamz  Před 2 lety +1

      Aww you are so welcome. Similar to you, because of the density of my hair, when I was a loose natural it would break all the time but because it was dense I wouldn’t notice the breakage until I was braiding it or putting into very small sections. So now having locs, it’s alot easier to catch any breakage. That’s great you are taking your pills again you should start to see a difference real soon, especially with the low manipulation which will help alot!

    Have you ever used flaxseed gel to hydrate your locs? I am at the starter braidlocs stage and am extremely concerned about dryness. I am 4c and my hair grows outside my braids. If my fuzz gets dry as a loose natural it breaks quick. How do you deal with fuzzy locs & dryness (not only at the roots)?

    • @BodyByCamz
      @BodyByCamz  Před rokem

      Hey hun, so my locs are the same where they grow outside of the locs. What helps me with dryness and breakage is washing regularly and avoiding build up because if you are low porosity it’s already hard for your strands to absorb moisture so you need to keep the hair as clean as possible so you can absorb enough moisture. I use a water spritz with a tiny amount of leave in conditioner and it keeps me moisturised. If you’re hair can handle it, maybe add a tiny amount of castor oil to the hair strands after you have spritzed it to seal in moisture but make sure to wash regularly to avoid build up
