Even if Embiid rebounds more they still need other people to do so while on the floor with him, especially against a team like the Knicks
Yeah those long rebounds killed us.
That isn’t gonna happen anymore, we got bigger and we have the best backup center in the league who specializes in rebounding and the knicks lost their best paint guy at rebounding and defense lol.

How many games we watch Maxey get to the paint and this dude say's oh stop dribble and keep guy from the rim. Also Boston chucks 3 more than anybody and the have size. The Pacers have size and so does the Cavs. What the dude in the blue said sounds good until you out there with a 6'5 PF and he getting bodied.
So ya'll ok with leaving all rebounding duties to JoJo. And if you go oh the league is smaller now people was bitching about getting killed on the boards last year. Can't rely on embid to grab 15 bounds a game unless George and Maxey doin all the scoring which I think is rhe way...let embid focus on defense snd rebounds and let Paul and Maxey score...course Joel gonna get his but doesn't have to score 40 a night...will keep him healthy as well
He’s 7 feet tall. He can grab some rebounds and be ok. If the perimeter defense is better and the defense isn’t in rotation it’s easier to rebound.
It’s no non centers that are team changing rebounders basically in the nba except hart
Rebounding isn't like it was in the Malone/Shaq days. Soooooo many more 3 pointers attempted and when those miss they bounce a mile away from the basket. You need guys who will box out and get after the rebound other than the center. Centers are there for the rebounds of missed layups, backet drives, and short shots. Oubre and Martin and even Maxey have shown they can get after those bouncy rebounds. THat's what we need - not just tall guys standing around the backet like i always see people complaining about. Modern NBA rebounding is a much on the wings and guards as it is on the center these day - ain't all about the paint.
Feel like yous are over exaggerating a little bit.. Maxey, KO, PG, and Caleb average 20 rebounds combined. Joel averages 11. that's 21 just from your starters
