if that player's winrate via XVM is somewhat above average and higher and you got armor or substantial amount of hp left then it might worth saving him. But if hes just a rotten red tomato. What do you gain from him? Not worth of an investment
I do it all the time on my IS7 and it's truly rewarding when some of them are thankful. Makes my day everytime.

Love how e50m evolved from "being weak" to one of the most fun tanks to play, its my favorite tier 10
It was never weak, it just was expensive before equipment 2.0
If only my stats in it were after the buff. That turret armor was a game changer. But sadly my stats are horrible in it since most of my time spent was before it was good.
@@hardrock527 It's cousin the tier IX E50 is soppy soft and nothing close to what I see people do with the tier X M.

Was never weak, it was a little bit below maybe but with brain u would know its a sniper than can push in some moments and use armor.
Good they buff the turret, the real weak part of the tank, not the dpm like all people think. If you need more DPM on it u are probably playing it bad

He took one for the team. The enemies rather shot him than bounce shells off of the Maus, lol.
Battle with Maus showed that WG really should consider giving an additional exp or some other reward for blocking the damage. C'mon, if you focusing four or five tanks on you, absorbing or tanking their shells, then your team has much easier task. Sometimes its all what Maus can do in game, to just take shots.
I’d like to suggest the shells blocked rewarded you with the credits so if someone shot a heat round worth 4800 credits and it bounces the 4800 credits would be rewarded to the tank that blocked the damage
I agree. They want us to learn to block, why not either additional credits or experience for it.
I think it would be kind of cool to have the "role playing" system from ranked in the random queue, dont make it competitive like how it is in Ranked, but just make it that you are rewarded more for playing the role of your tank the way its supposed to be.
@@sfchappie2035 especially that WG made these roles also in random, now every tank has its own specifaction with introducment of field mods. Such a feature would give a second life or at least some purpose to some tanks which are irrelevant in current meta

The size difference between the Maus and the ELC when it came out. It looked about as big as the Goliath strapped to the rear of your tank.
Whats more funny is that the Vz 55 raised his gun to salute the Kravagn's valiant effort in trying to save him

I recently got the Maus, and I've played it a few times, and I absolutely adore it. I find it hilarious to play. The raw power you hold from the sheer size is amazing
First few games are fun, then the nightmare starts and your armor will be raped by premium/meta tanks spamming gold at your turret.
You will feel powerless or forced to spam gold too to hopefuly return some damage.
@@sylvercloud6631 since posting the comment, I've had a few absolute stinkers, sitting at 30ish games now. I think it can be nightmarish but, changing the way I play to the map has been the most useful thing, playing around the circumstances as opposed to barreling through them (something the tier 8 can do frivolously)
@@haezelroche Yeah, playing very defensively/passively instead of trying to breakthrough or even hold a chokepoint, a bit like if you were playing with a tank that does not really have armor. That's the paradox of this tank.
In any case, each time I see a QB replay of the Maus, it is not representative at all of the usual gameplay (and he usually shows games against tier 8).
I indeed had more fun with the V100.01.
@@sylvercloud6631 V100.01 is maybe the only ok tank of the line. I have sold the Maus long time ago after getting fooled by the QB enthusiasm for the tank
Same setup has allowed me to sustain a 78% win ratio in the E50M, I play a lot of Leopard 1/PTA games but when I’m tired of sniping, it’s now my go to tank.

That first game really shows just how much of a detrimental impact the current overpowered meta tanks have on the quality of teams and the gameplay.

As someone who has a type 5 heavy and not a Maus.... that looks like a ton fun. It's so enjoyable to watch heat bounce when I get my angles right on the type 5, Maus looks more of the same.

E50M was the first and only tier X I unlocked, way back in 2012 or something. It felt really hard to play, especially with how gold rounds worked. I sadly sold it along with most of my garage. Will work to get it again after I have finally unlocked the E100
E 50 M was my first tier 10 too I got last year from an "On Track" event. You better start saving up for the Christmas event this year!
You should stop at E75, E100 perform very bad compare to tier ix E75
@@cyrusiithegreat2824 most tier IX's are better than their tier X counterparts. But you can't earn bonds in those.

I watched a Claus Kellerman vid on the Spall Liner. He tested a Leopard 1 vs a Conq GC, tested both with and without a spall liner. Even it was a small data pool, he took more damage with a spall liner equipped, it did not reduce the damage by 50% as advertised. It could be something interesting to test out for your channel QB.

My most epic blocking game was in a pre-speed buff Maus many years ago -- 20K+ damage blocked defending on assault on Karelia defending against mostly tier 8s. This was facing old-school high damage arty so had a super spall liner. I was wedged up against a rock to take cover and sat there all game bouncing shot after shot as arty splashes nibbled my health away until eventually destroyed. . No one scouted on our team so I couldn't even see to return fire.
Would love to see you do this for top tier tanks of all nations, videos where you show off the strengths of these different nation's styles

Personally though, I much preferred the tier IX E 50. Much more flexibility with the option of two very powerful guns. I played it like a heavyweight sniper with the long barrel gun. Shooting with German precision from long range and absolutely smashing my opponents with ramming speed! Tier X E 50M is still fun too but not as much.😉

Yeah, when I’m in my E-100 or Maus, mainly serve as the distraction, and do some dmg, but just function to bounce and soak up damage, haha.
QB could you do some equipment tests?
I just saw a video Claus done comparing arty hits to a vehicle with spall liner compared to without, with the spall liner it actually took more damage and not 50% less, I tested it out in the training room and not only did it make no difference to the damage taken it actually didn't help with crew injuries either and only made a difference to 1 second of being stunned. . Doesn't seem worth It compared to loosing a different piece of equipment . .
I didn't think about testing out the difference in ramming damage though,
Same with field mods, some people think taking the greater terrain crossing tracks at the loss of Hull traverse speed doesn't actually loose you any traverse speed and other oddities like increasing aim time and reducing the aim circle size actually makes you aim at the same speed.

Hey QB just saw a clip to you reacting to the machine on wot console. Since then have you messed about with the cold war mode at all? If so what are your thoughts about the mode? Haven't really seen many pc players talking about it or just haven't been looking in the right feeds. I think it would be some good content to at least review and get your opinion on the direction the console devs are going. Plus they just added the leapoard 2a5 so it goes with the them of the video haha

I feel like you neglected the actual success of the kranvagns play. He knew he would never reload in time with all of your firepower there. But he enabled the VZ to get both shells off. I'd argue it was a misplay to shoot the kran and not the one shot tank. Especially knowing the kran just started his reload a few seconds before. It was still glorious of course.
