    A motor has a synchronous speed of 50rps and runs at 2850rpm when connected to a
    230-volt 50Hz supply. Calculate:
    a) per unit slip
    b) percentage slip

    A 35 mm2 cable is run 600 meters to a pump station.The insulation resistance of the cable is 140Mega Ohms.Calculate the change in the insulation resistance value if the cable length was shortened to 450 meters, when the pump station was relocated.
