Literally what are you even talking about…no one said Aang had to be invincible. Their reactions were not out of dissatisfaction like you’re trying to imply but rather they were disappointed because they didn’t want to see him get hurt. Like honestly, they’re not going to cheer when he gets hurt.

16:08 He can't hear Aang and, while it isn't doing anything, it's literally the only thing he CAN order to stop this, not even Toph is able to even slow down the whole thing, maybe in some sort of universe where Toph and these soldiers could work together but even then, the drill is in the wall, that would only be stopping the progress temporarily
though they never tried to make a hole under the drill, that could have worked
@@r.a.fgattaiguy845 I made a comment saying that in another universe where Toph and the other Earthbenders were to try and push the drill back, it could only stop to inevitable
Also, from several episodes including this, we only know that bending force is only additive, meaning that Aang and Toph getting everyone up the wall near the beginning was only made easier because both of them were doing it at the same time, we have no idea if earth itself, if applied force from 10 or so Earthbenders would do anything because it never happens
