That was quite a collection of things. Probably something for everyone it you needed it. With any old farm sale there are lots of forgotten things just waiting to be found.

I always feel sad when there are farm auctions

Especially when the family no longer wants the farm and they have to sell it to pay off all the children.

I like going to farm auctions but it makes me sad because the Farmer evidently did not have any children/relatives interested in farming. Seems to be happening too much now days. You mentioned Belarus? That is Russian tractor, cheap but very crudely made. It is pronounced like the city of Belarus which we have sometimes heard in the news over the years. "Bella-ruse" My son bought one maybe 12-15 years ago when America had a trade deal with Russia, do not know about now. He also had a JD. The Russia tractor is good for pulling wagons to and from field or manure spreaders, etc. I would have been looking at those antique furniture closely, love that stuff. Thanks for taking us along, enjoyed it.

@@markellyfarm I would never had known if my son had not bought one for a cheap "Don't Care if it gets beat up" work horse for the odd jobs on the farm. This was back when our government was friendly with them. Strange you found another one.

Mark, The International grain truck with the pinstriping on it is a "Omaha Standard" bed. Ironically they were made about 4 miles from my house across the Missouri River in Council Bluffs,Iowa on Broadway street. I drove by it for decades on my way to work. They pinstriped all of theyre wood and steel beds, whether they were flatbeds or box, ect. They bought tons of pinstriping brushes. When I first wanted to learn pinstriping I looked up where to buy them and Omaha Standard was listed first, but they didnt sell them. Im sure its because they bought so many of them. Was the house and shop listed for sale also??I am still looking for an acreage.

Im guessing they are. The guy died and only had a good friend that he left anything to. I doubt she will do any farming. Look for an Oconto listing.

Always sad when there is no family to take over the family farm or the kids fight over it and everyone loses. I can't imagine all the crap on our farm for the kids to deal with! It was my husband's grandparents' farm, but I think we'll be the last generation here.
