The 'hawk itself is superb, but the sheath/mounting-platform is a diamond among the dirt that other folks call sheaths; the first true update to the tomahawk lineage since Vietnam, IMHO. Very, very well done.

I really, really liked the feel of them, and I'm glad that someone finally understands that a fighting tomahawk shouldn't be so overly heavy that it is impossible to swing quickly or change direction. It's just too bad they are out of my price range at the moment.

You do not need it full tang honestly. That G-10 is bombproof. Most mall ninjas are not fireman and breach cars. Most bushcrafters own hatchets that are full wood handles. This “Tomahawk” with a G-10 handle is stronger than those wood handles, period.
No, and that’s a bit disappointing. It seems as though it’s largely intended for lightweight outdoor/camping applications. I’d prefer something a bit more heavy duty and I’m a bit particular when it comes to the contours. The accessibility/safety design for this is brilliant though, which is why I wished it delivered a bit more in other aspects.

It is full tang, that’s why the screws go all the way to the bottom of the g10 handle.

I would have purchased this but for some reason the molle attachment has been discontinued. I'm pretty disappointed.

It is definitely NOT full tang! You do notice Hogue never answers this question. Nice design but a royal ripoff. $50-$100 not a penny more
