I'm a new army and I'm not really into shipping and stuff since some people tend to blow things out of proportion, exaggerate what they observe and get annoying about it, however (and big however) I find Jungkook and Jimin's interactions quite interesting. I noticed small things like the way JK gazes at JM, the way their eyes linger on each other in some clips and the way the two of them behaved around each other (their overall body language esp when they were sitting next to each other at a gathering or idk, whispering in each other's ears and staring into each other's eyes which reminded me of my friend and her bf when they third-wheel me ) in those clips my reaction, as a fresh army who has only joined the fandom two weeks now, was as follows: " um , wait were they flirting?!!"
I got more interested and watched some of their live videos as was recommended by ARMYs who "ship" them. And wow, man. I am aware that the boys are very touchy feely and affectionate towards each other, HOWEVER, this is different and I can see why people ship them.

When I first got into BTS I was the same way; I never liked the idea of shipping real people but I just fell in way too deep with Jikook haha
They seriously do give a feeling that is so much more intimate compared to everyone else's best-friend closeness.
But, although BTS ships are such a big thing in the community, there is still so much entertainment that comes from it, so I hope you continue to enjoy yourself, even if you can't find yourself fully shipping anyone! 💜

Guys my was a bit different... before bts I was directioner, so I was aware of shipping stuffs while in 1d also I had shipping them but I never crossed my mind more than close/best frnd when I come in this fandom (this year) I went to see shipping while vkook is quite popular n my frnd recommends too so I watch as same it was nothing but close frnd, as uh said I felt weird with jk n jm interaction, jk gets whole flustered n shy.. they r way too much touchy but I still decide to think straight but after I saw almost kiss in award function N nibbling ear, I fuckin lost my clam.. like what kinda frnd r they...N then I got pretty sure they r more than frnds...

Alma Saga I'm not new ARMY, but I feel pretty similar. I have shipped fictional characters before, but never real people. When I was new ARMY, I was kind of shocked with how into it some fans got. And some videos blow a small touch or little glance waaay out of proportion as "proof". I fully enjoy the more light hearted ship videos because I just like shipping the close friendships in BTS. Like Sope and Vmin friendships are goals for me. But yeah something seems different with Jingkook/Jimin.
Just a note that I want to bring to light; I see a lot of people bring up the fact that "If it is not confirmed by BigHit or by the members themselves, then they probably aren't."
My first take on this: I believe there has been enough hidden evidence to show that, in a way, they have admitted it. Of course, we can never say that they're 100% dating because we do not know these guys personally, and, to be fair, it isn't our lives and is really none of our business.
But, with that being said, we can still feel that strong possibility that it's true. (From their chemistry, their body language, moments, their many years of their relationship's consistency and growth, etc.)
My second take on this: I do not believe, even if they truly are dating, that they would EVER come out. There is too much on the line by admitting such a thing and they are professionals first and foremost.
One thing that I'm sure would be on their minds would be the fact that if they were to come out, they would be limiting the places they would be able to have concerts. Korea, primarily, would have issues with this; but other than Korea, it isn't fair for the Armys who live in homophobic countries.
Homophobic countries would probably prohibit BTS from having concerts there, and the Armys who live there would have to suffer because of that.
This is why, no matter how strong our hearts go towards shipping, no matter who we ship, we should still continue to keep things somewhat on the down-low. It is our jobs to protect them, not out them.

Many elements make me think Jikook is real especially the facts they stick together almost all the time and the matching rings and outfits. I feel a "couple vibe" when i watch them together !
I completely agree! I’m one of those who will not confidently claim they are real but I will acknowledge that it is possible. There are many things that can be over dramatize in favor of our favorite ship but there are also just purely questionable things which makes certain moments significant to the “real” possibility. I feel like many don’t understand (when they say jikook or anyone should come out if they are bi or gay or dating or whatever) the pressure of being in that situation. Everything they worked so undeniably hard for could be jeopardize and we shouldn’t expect these things from bts or any idol. They don’t have to disclose anything related to who they are dating or their personal lives, romantic or not, so we should all respect that! Also, we (shippers) should stop treating shipping like a competition. So many hardcore shippers are crazy intent on proving and disproving other ships as “real” or not and it’s really sad some become this way. None of us know the boys so why do some feel they have the right to put down the relationship the members have with eachother. It’s wrong and crossing many lines. There’s nothing wrong with believing in a ship but let’s all be mature fans and respect one another
Totally agree with that. Even if they don't come out,i cant stop believing that they had something going on. And i feel this only abt jikook. All i want is them to be happy
I maybe wrong but i think it may even be possible that things like Dispatch even know they're real simply due to how obvious they are. Considering how in the past dispatch have outed couple with much less evidence. But BTS have become such a national pride and have helped contributed massively to the Korean economy, it would be in no one's benefit to out JM and JK. Again I could be wrong.
Adding to what you said about homophobic countries, let's not forget they are really big right now and not all fans are going to be OK with them being a certain thing that is not "expected" of them. There is a very popular story in my family about one of my cousins, she was a really big fan of Ricky Martin to the point she went to all of his concerts and bought all of his merch, she had her walls covered with posters of him, but when he came out she literally threw everything away and completely stopped supporting him. It's sad to think that among ARMY there could exist such type of people, but it's not crazy either, for them it might just be way safer to stay the way the are now if it is true that there's something to hide.

I think the biggest giveaway are the other members, how they react to JiKook interactions lol and then Namjoon seems to be the one left to do some damage control.
With that being said, I also agree that whether they are together or not or whether they’ll ever come out or not is non of our business no matter how much we want confirmation.
But the fact is that they have such beautiful connection that makes their relationship the perfect one that everyone would like to have and we simply live and feel that part of ourselves through them and that’s why is so precious.
Some would say they’re perfect, others would say they’re too perfect to be real but at the end of the day what’s more important is that when the cameras are off and the world is asleep, that they are true and honest with each other.
So long as they know the truth, they know what’s real and are happy with it then that’s what matters because anything other than the truth just between them would be a heavy burden to carry and not right for any of them if is just for the sake of the business.
I’m a hardcore JiKook shipper, I can even say that I’m obsessed because of the time I spend watching videos like this one because they feed my fantasy but I also like to be objective and one thing is certain, no matter how much someone lies, the eyes always tell the truth, and I’ll leave it at that.
In 13:15 i realized that i watched this clip but not complete ( since it was cut of for delusional purposes) in a vkook video and it was saying that jugkook was actually sending a kiss to taehyung since he was in the back and that Jimin was just watching with the camera facing himself , but when i watched the complete vid without it being cut i found out that jungkook was actually sending a flying kiss to jimin and then said and i quote:" my mo- my mochi"you can't deny that he was referring to jimin... so that made me think about how vkookers go to the trouble of even lying to themselves to believe in something that isn't there. I believed since the beginning and till this day that Jikook is the realist and most beautiful ship of all.

vkookers are (no offense) one of the most toxic and delusional ships. i’ll give you one example; i saw a tweet saying “wow, vkook really did that” and under it was a video of bts saying goodbye to fans at a concert and tae and jungkook were at opposite ends and were waving. since jungkook was on the right he was waving to the right first and then turned to wave to the left, v was on the left end and was waving from left to right. they turned towards the opposite sides a few seconds apart. i replied and pointed that out and i got cussed out and the person said “they turned to each other at the same time, they’re soulmates” AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TURN AT THE SAME TIME. plus, if you look at vkook analysis vs jikook analysis you’ll see how many cuts in a single clip there is in vkook analysis whereas in jikook analysis you see the full clip with no cuts and sometimes from a lot of different angles. vkookers often times take clips and twist them to their liking and it just saddens me. plus, they’re so insecure of their ship that they need to go to other ships’ videos and comment that it’s fake and that vkook is real... sad really

Aaliyah Ramirez I was a previous TaeKook shipper and I actually found quite a few “jealous Jungkook” moments that taekooker’s would edit to make it look like JK was jealous about Taehyung but it was actually him being upset over Jimin... I saw a taekook vid claiming that V came forward to kiss JK (That sound of kissing) that sound was clear in the video but this "My Mo My Mochi" part was cut completely. I was confused .
I feel like I have to note (because people tend to think that jikook shippers are all delulu) that I’m not a shipper, I don’t ship things. I can’t even ship fictional characters. I find the concept of shipping sort of odd but I’m not saying you shouldn’t do it, I think people can do it (with real people) as long as they don’t take it too far. [Do whatever you want with fictional characters.] However, I do believe that Jimin and Jungkook are actually dating, and not because of fan service moments we’ve all seen a million times but because of moments in which they react in a way that suggests their behavior was unintentional. For example, when they don’t realize the camera is there before doing/saying something and get shy after they eventually do, or a big thing Jikook supporters tend to always point out is when the other members act weird about them doing fan service but not when another two members are doing fan service. I don’t just run with these things though, I always examine them for myself and I always ask myself: Would two other members behave this way (bts and/or another group)? Is this a thing that two men in Korea would do (given how much more affectionate men are towards each other in Korea versus western countries)? Can this ONLY be taken in a romantic way or can it be friendly; as well as could this just be fan service. There are many moments that are “big” Jikook moments that I believe are merely for fan service purposes (I don’t doubt they got a kick out of it though).
I tend to be a logical person when it comes to thinking; my friends and adults around me would often scold me, when I was a kid, for being blunt even though I was just pointing out what was most likely rather than being optimistic or saying what others wanted to hear.
So with that being said, I believe there are enough reasons for jikook to be a real couple and if there were enough reasons for Jikook to NOT be real, I would compare that to the reasons I believe they are real and get the most logical answer. However, there aren’t many evidences against the theory.
I support them as a couple because I support BTS and I love each member. I’m not doing it for my own happiness or joy or whatever. In fact, while supporting these two, I faced a lot of antis and I admit it made me not feel like posting a speed paint video (I did of the two for pride month) because I didn’t feel like reading/deleting negative comments.
After supporting the two, I thought: have I changed? I never “ship” things, what’s going on with me? But I actually haven’t, I am the same and I still don’t ship things; even fictional characters.
I think some people are just waiting for a confession as if they’re actually going to come out as gay given their occupation and where they live... (like that makes any sense) I think we can all agree that they’re more professional than that.

To me they just feel different. Idk what it is but everytime I see them interacting my heart literally picks up speed. It happened automatically too. Like I didn’t even know what shipping was I just watched some of their lives and got vibes. Then I watched videos on CZcams and to me it just makes sense. It doesn’t seem like they’re ever forced. The look Jungkook gives jimin is completely different from everyone else. I just love their love. 💜

JiKook is the reason I got into BTS, and I'm glad I did decide to checked out that JiKook vid that popped up that day (can't remember the title/creator though 😢). I just wish that the ship wars will stop pretty soon, because like you said even though we have a lot of evidence that shows that what they have is more than friendship/brother hood we can't blatantly say that they are dating or they are boyfriends unless they/BigHit admit it themselves. People in real relationships fight, disagree, argue, make up, defend, loyal, comfort, etc. You can see all these in varying degrees with these two. Their relationship is completely organic. It will be interesting to see their evolution.

It's true that Taekook is more popular then jikook is but lots of people said that jikook was the most popular ship in South Korea. In the first place this doesn't sound very good because "more people ship taekook" BUT the armys in South Korea know there culture better then the other armys around the world so they know how couples in south Korea act. I think that fact is very important and i think its sad that the other people dont want to see that connection between them two.

It's in general pretty rare to see k-army commenting under shipping videos or something like that and let you know, that they are k-army, so it was really surprising... And it kind of made me believe Jikook is another level of ship and it's more of a supporting thing.

I swear to god, at 13:18, back when I was a Vkooker, i saw it in a video for Vkook, but I only saw/hear the kissing sound, and not the "my mo, my mochi" I kid you not!! And I saw pictures of this on Pinterest and thought it was fake because I hadn't seen the full part!! I'm so happy but annoyed at the same time. Happy that this actually happened, but annoyed because you can't just leave out an important part like that in a video, and we KNOW he's talking about Jimin, cuz he's a mochi. Y'all imagine.. I used to convince myself and refuse that they are together (it was when i became an ARMY) .. when i first saw a title saying '' Jikook is real'' i clicked on it and saw that it was actually a ship which included Jimin, who is my bias. I hated it, I couldn't stand the fact that he might be gay, I was against LGBT. Anyway, after i watched that video on yt, my Instagram was full of clips with videos with them, analysis vids etc. Then i started watching more and more, everyday... I couldn't even sleep, like literally. At school either, I was just obsessed (can't say that now im not haha). After seeing all these analysis vids, I loved them and still do. Now im 100000% they're more real than I am, and we should support them.
I mention that the time was really short, like now I became an ARMY and after a. few days, maybe a week, I was obsessed with them.
THAT'S HOW POWERFUL THEY ARE. this is 100% real experience, Im not saying this just for getting more shippers (but if you aren't, you should become.. jk)

These two make me so soft I tear up at every Jikook video
I’m an adult who doesn’t find the joy in “shipping” or romanticizing homosexual couples by doing fanservice, in fact-I despise it. I often found myself unwittingly stumbling across popular ships within bts such as Jungkook and Taehyung or Yoongi and Jimin. As suspected, I did not find any “satisfaction” or any indication of the matter that might indicate the slightest chance for the ship to be real. I should probably mention that I am also not the type to put a label on anyone’s relationship status with another, or discard the possibility of a member being homosexual. Anyways, during this time Jungkook came out with his first GCF video and appropriately so, I was dumbstruck. The mixture between the shots and the lyrics instantly translated the video as a non-verbal way of Jungkook telling the world about how much he admires Jimin. This bond that I wasn’t really aware of, reached to a level where I could, in a sense, relate to Jikook with my love life. That was the time I began to believe that Jungkook and Jimin might have a relationship that is deeper than friendship. I find it to be more delusional not acknowledging their extremely evident perceptions of one another and undermining their bond as mere friends, than to say they are dating. Just an opinion.

Thank you for this video. I'm a fairly new Army (it's only about half a year) but Jikook caught my eye pretty early on even though I was wary of shipping real people.
I haven't lived through the past six+ years with them and am already overwhelmed in my attempt to catch up on all of the BTS related content (e.g. through vlive). And I'm not even talking primarily Jikook. There are parts that feel especially hard to access and interpret after a long time like the tweets. So edits like yours help me a lot to see other sides and moments I wouldn't have known about otherwise.
I like about this video especially that you focus on those aspects that are the most convincing to me as well e.g. the reactions of the other members or how naturally intimate their interactions appear especially in situations that aren't tailored for providing fan service in any way.
While I'm at it - and it's a bit off topic, I'm sorry - I really doubt the fan service argument with those two. Ofcourse I'm aware that fan service is a big thing and we often can see it in stage performances and shows. I took some time to look at it in other Kpop and Jpop groups but I can't help but feel like there's a difference. Most fan service is pretty obvious and "bam, in your face!". In times it strongly portays sexuality or simulate kissing and other intimate actions or desires it is either delivered very professionally or - mostly when "accidentally" - followed up with at least one of the mains or their surrounding people reacting in a shocked or embarrassed way. Apart from their early days BTS don't seem to use those forward kind of fan services. It's surely not a main focus to play into any shipping. Many Jikook moments lack in their "scandalizing quality" or in the shy/shocked reactions compared to other KPOP moments. Except maybe from jung Jungkook back then or embarrassed Jimin later on sometimes. But especially Jimin reacts in other situations self conscious in a similar way so to me it even adds to the authenticity. To make my long rumbling short. The way Jikook moments appear they seem to be downplayed rather than hypped for fan service purposes what adds to the feeling that it might be real. If it all is only an elaborate ploy and a new level of fanservice than kudos are past due to Jikook themselves and all of the other members for their splendid acting and improvising abilitie.
That's exactly how I, and I think a lot of other people, also feel so your points are definitely able to be agreed with!
I've also looked at other group ship videos when I started out to give myself a sort of base to compare Jikook to, and not a single one was able to make me *feel* that secret intimacy that Jungkook and Jimin make me feel; and, as you said, the others are either really loud for the camera or too _brotherly_ to be taken as romantic in my eyes.
Just a little something I thought about how there relation ship might be real but they won’t tell anyone. Reason why the relationship is real is one big thing...THERE RINGS AND THE PLACEMENT OF RINGS...ring are something in Korea that important for couples. And the placement of the ring show what the rings mean. Jimin where’s a lot but there 2 ring that he had one his fingers. And those fingers that he had them on stand for like someone special more like a lover. And jungkook where’s like one ring and it’s on the same finger. Meaning that the rings probably are something they got after a year. Yes a year cause in Korea people usually get them after a one year relationship..and there rings match just to say...the reason why they probably didn’t come out is probably cause Korean people don’t really like LGBT. Which is really sad because a lot of LGBT Korean hide that there homosexual,lesbian,bi,queer,pan,asexual,etc... and which is also sad cause there so many LGBT people that it’s so hard not to except them. But yea South Korea doesn’t really like homosexuality so that might be a reason there not coming out😭😥 BUT THERE MY THINKING WHAT DO YOU THINK

I never believed that ship things can be real. And after watching many ship analysis videos which are mostly fake. They are just putting non existible fact like if two members smile to each other, they are boyfriends, if hold hands or even stare sometime 😪 they will call them boyfriends. As we don't really know their sexuality and stuffs that's why people should not be fighting over simple ships. We should love all ships right because at the end we are army.
And talking of jikook, idk they are real or not but still I will be happy if they are or they are not its okay. Their bond is on different levels. I have noticed many times if there are two teams and jikook is in one team with another member, they will probably forget him and live in their own world 😂. It's funny. they went a trip together, they do couple things, in concert they are wildin. Too much for my jikook heart.
Also some tker analyser said gcf Tokyo is not about jimin it's about their ship 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣like seriously. When we keep ship things aside and take jikook as best brothers in term of best friends, it's a gift to Jimin from jungkook. Ugh their mind.

Sometimes it gets very difficult for jikookers. Because vkookers are literally everywhere and I love bts but i was a jikooker before i became an army and i love tae too but seeing my Instagram explore filled with vkook hurts my heart.
Yeah, it can be overwhelming! Wow I've been watching tons of Jikook vids (I'm new btw) and this is the first one I see with the SUGA part lmaaaooo. In all of the vids, RM, Jhope and Jin are always the ones covering up or interrupting Jikook specially RM. I always wanted to see Suga's reaction too about Jikook but as always he only does poker face on every situation haha. This is the first one I see him participate lmao. TBH the members just make it more obvious about Jikook being real rather than Jikook themselves. If there is really nothing about them, they could just let them flirt and all bec they know not all ppl/army ship so non-shippers can only see all these flirting and sweet moments as fan service or that close skinship (known in Korea). HOWEVER they try their best to cover them up or control them bec THERE IS REALLY SOMETHING BETWEEN THE TWO and they are all worried that the two might go overboard. I actually love them for exposing Jikook more. RM, Jhope, Jin, Suga and V, you good, keep going! lol.
