    Devin, A few years back my two cousins, my grandparents, and I went on a trip to Kenya. It was one of the best experiences ever. It just so happens that while we stayed in the Mara at camp Entim (Masai for bush) we had lunch at the same exact spot as you and your friend. Kenya is one of my favorite places.

      This is a "behind the scenes" video. If you want to see Lindsey playing and don't want to hear Devin talking, then just go watch the original video..

    • @gooferman609
      @gooferman609 Před 10 lety +15

      behind the scenes would be Lindsey playing and the natives reaction to it and an interview with someone about Lindsey's music would have been behind the scenes also.

      No, the title to the video is "Filming in Africa-Behind The Scenes". Some reactions of the first time they heard music like that would be cool, not exhibitionist at all.

    • @MikoGarrido
      @MikoGarrido Před 10 lety +3

      gooferman609 "natives" kinda spells it out for me :) i'm sorry but that's the way i see it. wanting to see "natives" look primitive and feeling better about your western civilisation because it brought them the violin only serves to further dichotomise people into east or west. even worse, it places one above the other when neither should really exist.

  • @devingraham
    @devingraham  Před 12 lety

    I used both for the Africa video. The 7D has a smaller sensor, which makes it so you can zoom closer into the animals.

Weird question from someone who has lived in Africa. did they ever call you a mzungu? In Malawi it was so cute to see the children scream this and run away. A rough translation is "white man who walks in circles." (at least that's what the locals would tell us) keep up the good work and know these experiences can change you forever.
