Some of you sub to me too and I really don't know why but.. thanks for that too I think? I never have any ideas or motivation for uploads but I appreciate it I suppose haha
I wish I could remember this show (and this company for that matter) in a better light, *especially* after recent events. It seems like RT cannot stray from controversy, and a lot of big names have jumped ship. I haven't enjoyed RWBY in a long time, but I still can remember the hype behind the trailers, and waiting for every season. I hope you all have enjoyed the show for what it is, and if you continue to like it, I wish you the most of power. Knowing that this video has been watched a million times and all the comments (I have read every single one) tell me that people at least got some sort of positivity out of this video (I didn't even make it, I don't deserve credit, I just took 5 minutes to edit it) is the best thing in my eyes.

honestly i'm still enjoying the show as of late. I don't get as hyped about episodes as I used to but i am still looking forward to future episodes.

Weiss is basically a glass technician, in the White trailer, she got the scar on her face in a training accident when her aura should have been on, and she went on to beat her opponent.
Weiss is first and foremost a technician, and as opposed to Weiss making a weapon suited to her like Yang's gauntlets or Ruby's scythe, she was given a Rapier. Rapiers build technique, but they aren't overwhelming, especially in the world of Remnant. Thus, Weiss has actively built her weapon skills in a very technical way. She isn't a sniper like Ruby, nor a cannon like Yang, she is a technician with well developed techniques and counters. She further enhances her abilities with her Glyphs, but before gaining the ability to summon a Warrior, she was reliant on her rapier, and had even worse durability than Ruby.
Yang, on the other hand, is constantly shown taking hits. Yang's durability is simply astounding, she can be punched through concrete bridge supporters by a giant robot and continue fighting effectively, without her Aura even breaking. If anything, Yang is the tank of the group.
You're forgetting the fact that Yang's semblance literally revolves around her taking hits. She's the tank of the group. Her taking a hit is par for the course. For Weiss that isn't the case. Plus, they were all being overly playful and dramatic
Yang is the tank. Rwby is the primary dps. Blake is more of a specialist or assassin type. I guess that makes Weiss support.
Considering her glyphs, i do agree, Weiss is definetly a support type. Best example is the fight against that raven Grimm, where she helped boost Ruby's speed so that the latter would behead it.
VYNLT yes. And when she uses time dilation to speed up Blake's movements against Roman. She's more of a dps support, providing limited buffs and cc, but also putting out a good amount of damage. Jaune is a tankier and more pure support, being able to soak hits, but also heal and buff defense and resistence with his semblence, at the cost of having spme of the lowest dps. However, he might get a buff to enable him to boost allies's passives in the next patch.
And yet the most entertaining thing about this for me is that somewhere on a Rooster Teeth company computer exists a file entitled "Bread Noises"

Nora and Pyrrha were the only useful ones from their team. Pyrrha took out Blake and Nora, well, everyone else other than Ruby. Ren and Jaune didnt do much (especially Jaune) before being knocked out by Yang.

You must remember all the other students are training to be huntsmen/huntresses, but when a fight between RWBY and JNPR breaks out, everyone else runs for their lives xD

When I first saw this I was very confused about the physics and the logic about the food:

Jaune threw a watermelon that one time. That's all he did, but it was really cool.
His contribution to the food fight sucked but you gotta give him points for style
The whole fight was essentially a 4v2. Jaune isn't exactly competent at this point but Ren didn't even contribute at all, he couldn't hit Yang even once.

Can we appreciate the classic rwby fight scenes that went just appealing and fun and hella smooth, they helped build the characters more like Ruby doing that insane move it was new to us when we saw it
Monty is unmatched
It’s so amazing!. I love every single second of it. Til ruby ruins it with her MC attack. Before that it plays into everyone’s awesome skills(except Jaune) and it shows their personal skills…. Which obviously are absent for EVERYBODY post V3.
The part where Ruby completely wrecks JNPR all by herself in a single attack, with that music playing in the background, remains, to this day, my favorite scene in any animation, ever.
This has to be the most entertaining fight in the series. I loved how they all used food that represented their weapons at some point in the fight
With the exception of Ruby's scythe and Jaune's sword and shield.

Man i would love to see this reanimated with updated quality. Or a new food fight with the experience these teams have now. I just love great power being used for such silly innocent fun like this. Like sure they have so much responsibility, but people need moments like this to enjoy simple things in life worth fighting and living for.

This was actually the best fight in the entire show. One thing that I rarely see properly enacted is a good intense team vs team fight. It's always one-on-one or team vs a big bad.
Yes, after S3, the anime physics vanished and it feels very heavy and slow, by contrast. Whoever choreographs the stuff later on is very American in the physics and action. I miss the epic anime physics from the early seasons with each one having unique dash mechanics. They were so creative and epic. I love how Nora used her hammer to propel her, how Weiss stacked the movement effects of her semblance, and how Ruby dashed like crazy with her gunscythe.

They really need better choreography.. RWBY fight scenes were their major draw.

I know what you're talking about. I personally think it's not even remotely as bad as everyone makes it out to be, and people are overreacting; but better fight choreography could help draw attention away from some of the shows flaws and sharpen focus on the good stuff. I still love RWBY though and will no doubt watch it until it's finished.
And this is why Volume two will continue to forever be my favorite volume
