I own a 2017 797 and had an fz07 2016 stolen from me. I had the fz for 15k miles, bought it for 7k, i now have a 797 monster for 7.6k. no diff on the price really, but my fz felt faster than my 797. Also three advantages the fz had, gear indicator, fuel indicator, and i didnt have to get the valves serviced. My fz felt like a rocketship compared to my 797 maybe its being stolen and all but its def different
Update, after putting 2.5k miles on my 797 I've realized something...... I've been turning the accelerator as far as my fz07 would go, I still had half throttle left XD. There is almost no difference in acceleration from my fz07 to this, just a couple of user errors like only turning the accelerator half way
mt-07 is just a price/performance vehicle Even if the weight of the driver and the condition of the motorcycle are similar,mt-07 can't beat monster Ducati is as expensive as it is

In countries like Turkey, Ducatis, KTMs, MV Agustas are cheaper to own and maintain. Its like 250k TL for Duc', 350k TL for Yammie.
