That must be one of her best interviews ever. She's honest, simple, sweet and puts her message across so nicely. I absolutely love her and I loved her halftime show performance. It did make me feel ecstatic.
I like how she says I look for the world and reality sets in and I get a piece of the world. It's always important to aim high. Shoot for the heavens even if you fail you'll land among the stars.
I think you would feel very differently if you actually watched the entire show. It does start off quite dark, but it's incredibly theatrical and powerful. It is pure performance art, something Madonna does better than anyone. Every show cannot be all upbeat and fun like S&S.

Check out the Frozen music video, or Nothing Really Matters....how about the entire Drowned World Tour from 2001....the Mer Girl and Paradise (Not For Me) video interludes. Madonna has gone dark, and very, very well. She is the ultimate performance artist and the darkness leads to the light.
Janet Jackson's Superbowl Performance was one of the best performances in the Superbowl History. Hers, Princes, Michael Jackson's and Madonna's were the best too.
Reading Madonna and Gaga fans fight over the Internet is ridiculously idiotic, I am a major fan of both and I don't judge or sit and examine every little thing Madonna or Gaga does, some of you seem to forget Madonna wasn't the first, Grace Jones, Annie Lennox...just saying. Madonna just became more popular and stayed relevant.
