    By seeing Choijeng dance at the end in such a carefree manner, you would never believe that she is a terrifying monster at Go.

    The music at the beginning drowns your voice -- tone it down a bit, please. Better would be to fade it out after a standard introduction. Otherwise, Interesting material and generally clearly presented.

    Seems strange that you have mâle and female championship for baduk. What do you think about that ?

    Yeonwoo_ do you think the world will ever see a day with a female as strong as Rui Naiwei?
    in today's game it would be the equivalent of a female player with an ELO score of 3550 to 3600.
    Rui defeated Lee Changho and Lee sedol. I don't see any women players with that kind of strength in today's game.

    I think "hand" is used in a way that doesn't translate well into English. I am guessing here just "champion" or "championship" is the right term...

    • @yanzhang1810
      @yanzhang1810 Před 4 lety

      I believe the specific term is "Kuksu," which is a proper noun. "Hand" is accepted (such as in "Hand of God") as a Go term, so I think it's fine? Maybe a better translation is to capitalize it to "National Hand" to distinguish it from the other 5-7 national championships they have in Go/Baduk.

    • @kyyyni
      @kyyyni Před 3 lety

      Yes, I believe "Kuksu" is imitated from 国手, a title which has a long history in China, which also seems to be translated directly as "National Hand" in at least some English-language resources. I do strongly prefer translations that preserve meaning to those that don't, so I think this one is totally fine. Let's just hope that English-speaking people will get used to the title over time.

  • @besanit

    maybe you need to start taking dancing lessons, it seems that it goes well with go.

      @besanit Před 4 lety +2

      @@goproyeonwoo Of course, in dancing and go you learn a few basic moves and then you have to hear the rhythm to and use them accordingly. In yoga you just learn joseki and tesuji but there is no flow.

  • @sedetweiler
    @sedetweiler Před 4 lety +2

    Yea, I would skip the music. Your channel does not need it at all and it is super distracting.
