Great job!
We like to listen to some kind of story while falling off to sleep…. This piece however requires more attention because of its interest and compilation of historical facts…an added bonus to our recent trip to the lower shoreline of the Jersey Shore after 62 years of visiting various towns, North to South.
We will be sharing this!
Thank You
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Hope you had a great time on your recent trip to the Jersey Shore! Hopefully you can come back again soon with a little more added insight. The uniqueness to each town has always been part of the charm for me. 🙂⛱👍
Wonderfully done and very informative. Good job!
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it. 🙂
Beach fees started here at Bradley Beach as the hole in the town budget caused by that huge temple on Ocean Avenue left the town council with no alternative. They're the first ones to scream separation of church and state when they imagined that they're being threatened.
Interesting
Great documentary. Grew up summers “ down the shore “ . Grandma had a house in pt Pleasant borough
Since 1957 till 2005 when she had to sell . Don’t know about those comments but your vocal narrative was spot on . Done in the style of the Ken Burns Mimi documentary series. Very enjoyable.
How did you leave Skinny Damaro and the 500 club out? Sinatra , Martin and Lewis ? Well there you go - another series ! Thanks again
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it! That's so great that you got to spend that golden age of summers in Point Pleasant. You're right! How did I miss all that classic history. 👍😉🙂🏖️
So far I’m liking this. Reminds me of something I saw in school (I grew up near Cape May). But is it me or does this guy not know how to pronounce Absecon?
Atlantic City has been my favorite getaway since a child. I live in PA. I love the genuine loving and kind people of the Northeast. We go way back. Nothing like New Jersey Beaches. This is our playground. 😂 ❤
Awesome! 😃👍
It’s sad that seaside heights got smaller because of a hurricane but I’m glad they still have some of the old rides form old seaside heights Anyways great video
I agree 100%. It did change some after the hurricane but I'm glad they kept some rides, shops, and arcades. Thank you the compliment! So glad you liked the video 🙂🤩
👏 Wonderful documentary of the Jersey shore. I hope they add more about some of thr other beach towns
Thank you, Mary! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. 🙂 The video titled "An Historical Journey from North to South" touches a little bit on all the major Jersey Shore beach towns.
Great stuff
I really like this video. But I think the narration is too quick, I can't keep up with the pace!
Thank you! That's funny because I've also received comments that it's too slow. The more current CZcams videos are very fast-paced.
tell them to change the playback speed!

👍👍..................
Hostile?? What do you expect those people to do when the British came to steal their land?
Good information but the narrator's voice is 9ff putting. Kit sounds like hebis reading a school report. Great pictures though. I will check out the transcript also.
Thanks Virginia. Can you tell me which chapters are off putting? Or, is it though out the video?
@@historyofthejerseyshore I loved the documentary! I did find the 1st narrator a bit slow in presenting but after that Very Enjoyable!
@@hiss3 Thank you! I'm so glad you loved it. 🙂 I kept trying to fix the audio in spots but once it's recorded its hard to fix unless you record it all over again.
Who is the narrator? At times he sounds like Kevin Costner.
@@sheilasrock9424 it's just me. 😀 Thank you so much for the compliment! I'm a big fan of Kevin Costner's.
So that Cape May hotel just randomly burned down? Wtf. Was it built out of plywood?
