The first track was done by me by editing instrumental outro from Stadium House trilogy video back in 2011. Posted on KLF mailing list it still lives. I also did clean up and recovery on Love Trance demo back then...
I did the graphics from pure trance 1 and 5 on 2 army jackets. Still got my what time is love coat. I did the logo in flocking (felt) and the number 1 on one sleeve and KLF communications on the other. I love it when when a fellow KLFer comes and has a natter. There are worse things to chat about!
I love the work on these and saw all 5 of the trance series in the flesh on my friends wall. He was a KLF mega fan an I remember to get all 5 was very rare indeed. It cost him a fortune. Anyway very clean design on the jackets that works extremely well. I hope you are proud of what you did here
Thanks - Great track it is..... I believe it's an intrumental mix of the original "It's Grim Up North" from late 1990. They then used it on Stadium House video released in summer 91... IMHO- Unlikely but not impossible that this is connected to "Turn Up The Strobe",, though who knows they may have used elements/samples from that mysterious PT4 track (I believe it did exist as a demo)... This is certainly very hypnotic and minimal but this IGUN mix was composed in 1990.
Has there ever been any confirmation from Drummond and Cauty that TUTS is an early version of It's Grim Up North? I remember a rumour years ago that TUTS is actually Kylie Said Trance and that they had just renamed it so they had a B-side for the commercial release Of Kylie Said To Jason.
I believe that the CD Single mix of KSTJ is a very good mix of WTIL? TUTS that turns up on-line I can never work out if it's a very very good fan interpretation? In the early 90's I remember seeing a White Room Demo bootleg on tape at the local market, I hated tapes back then only ever used them to copy my original vinyl for playing on my personal stereo and later the tape player in my Fiesta!
So why did you abandon Us All kennicot and Totnes Jimmy not even to sound check the only sound proof venue in the southwest,, your sound engineer did though then took few bullets ..write a returner Totnes riot in box doesn't send love put some cash into the youth

The KLF....the "gateway drug" to all electronic music(80-90's) 😁👍

I did this first track back in 2011. It's an edit of a nameless track from The KLF Stadium House video.

I wish it was eternally the early 90s and I never grew old
Certainly was a very special time in my life.

Track 2 in particular reminds me of "It's Grim Up North" but with a different vocal

ah Love Trance
wrong font on the sleeve
Niche
how real is this?
Great effort but gets a bit too repetitive towards the end
This is nice but not what Pure Trance 4 is about.
