Interesting video thanks. I find it easier to sew the waistband on first, leaving a hole on the inside edge, then feed the elastic through afterwards, no need to fight with the crinkled up band trying to sew it onto the skirt afterwards. Liked the cutting system though.

I was the only guy learning to sew in home ec back in the late seventies. It took me about a week to pull out a single thread, and I've still no idea what the purpose of that was.
I was remembering wrap around skirts I used to help assemble in the sewing mill. The wrap around is more forgiving if you gain a few pounds on certain days of the month. I think the wrap around was much easier but this version of a skirt is very interesting. Beautiful.
Absolutely love the simplicity of this skirt. Easy to make and could add a zip and pockets too! I have a similar fabric with parrots on too, I’m going to make one. ❤

J'ai trouvé le même tissu au marché a Antibes 5 euros le mètre il es génial comme tissu c'est du Micra mais faut des aiguilles spécial le vendeur m'a conseillé et sur le marché je les ai trouvé j'ai acheté 3 tissu de coloris différents et hop mes jupes son faites trop contente cordialement 👍👍👍

ОТ = 14 × 8 = 112 см . Вы можете сделать клинья по своему размеру , просто включайте мозги , как и с "лохматыми" швами . Автор канала не стала отнимать время у зрителей на обработку швов .
The waist measurement given is tiny and the sewing time will be a lot longer than 10 minutes even for skilled sewers, but it's a nice idea and the waist/elastic size can be adjusted.
Я не поняла в чем прикол ? Юбка обычная восьмиклинка, без швов ниже бёдер и все. Разделите обхват талии на восемь и будет размер клина сверху, объём бёдер выберите свободу облегание и все.
Вы правы, обычная восьмиклинка. Нас такую в школе в 6 классе учили шить. Сейчас, к сожалению, такого урока нет. И девочки не могут иголку в руках держать. А этот ролик хоть кому-то из желающих поможет что-то самому смастерить.

You can then easily tighten the elastic as needed too...

Girls are not taught even basic sewing these days. I've got 5 grandaughters and don't think any of them could sew a button on. Let alone make a skirt.
