I just love it when they bring back the nostalgia of some memorable moments from the TV shows, to the TV’s voice actors, to the toy figures, to the Konami TMNT animations. Dotemu knocked it out of the park! I do hope they’ll bring in more nostalgic DLC playable characters later on.

A love letter not only to the show, but the beat-em-ups based on it. *Of which I own several.* So many references. The original voice actors for Splinter and the Turtles. ... I may cry. Thank you for completing this game with your usual panache and thoroughness.
I love all of the goofy shit you can see the foot ninjas doing before they spot you. My personal favorites were the ones going on a shopping spree in the mall.
I've never played turtles in time but as a kid I loved the GBA game based on the 2007 TMNT movie. It was such a fun beat 'em up even if I sucked at it back then and I still really enjoy that movie. I don't really have any nostalgia for this era of the turtles but the game looks solid and fun as hell. Definitely going to have to snag it one day.

Fun fact: The original comic that the Cartoon was based from was more dark and violent. Baxter Stockman also wasn't an insect but was a scientist

"Failed to finish level unharmed" Yeah. You're NOT GOING to get through ANY of these levels without taking hits. They made this game in the style of arcade beat-'em-ups, and those games were SPECIFICALLY PROGRAMMED to gobble down quarters! It is impossible to NOT get hit in these games.
I got this for my son i we both loved it. I grew up on the arcade games. I was 7 when the arcade came out and he turned 8 a day after this came out. Full circle
I just ordered the PS4 version of this game with help of a good friend of mine for my birthday which is in two weeks and it’s gonna be great hearing Cam Clarke, Townsend Coleman, Barry Gordon and Rob Paulson back as the turtles, because even if the original show is silly and stupid at times they’re the real ninja turtles, and if it wasn’t for them the other voice actors for the turtles would have been here for the new kids just like the original guys were here for us.
My autism is triggered that April wasn't chosen for the Channel 6 level and Splinter didn't kick the crap out of Ratking. Also feel like April should be a mutant cat if she is playable and part of the plot is trying to change her back.

Ah, the nostalgia is both overwhelming and awesome! But it’s the newer touches that impress me the most, like finally giving April O’Neill a chance to fight. No more damsel in distress for her!
Except that doesn't fit that version on the character. If it was the teen April sure but this April is not fighting robot, mutants, and everything else they show.

This game is long for a turtles beaten up game. Most of these play through of stuff like the two version of turtles in time and hyperstone heist usually take maybe 40 minutes tops to clear. Unless you have really bad reflexes our tbe home ports on harder difficulty settings.
I Installed the game on my Switch OLED with 1TB SD Card. Right at the start of the Nintendo or Nickelodeon logo I just get a black or white screen. It literality takes a few minutes just to get passed the startup of the game. It took me 10 to 15 minutes just to get to the Main Menu. If you pause during gameplay the game freezes and crashes sometimes. After you finish a mission it takes another 10 to 15 minutes to load the cut scene and another 10 to 15 to get to the map menu or it crashes. These are major issues I have encountered and I am pissed. I would expect the Switch version to get pulled of the play store. This is insanely bad.
Haven't started yet but plan to soon. I saw the instructions for all the different moves and it looked to be over 30. Does it take a while to memorize them all?
This is a very good game! If you like beat 'em ups and TMNT you should definitely try it!

My wife got me this for Christmas. STUPID amounts of fun to play. Takes me back to my NES days and playing TMNT at the arcade.
I feel like a kid again, seeing it makes me feel better about the teenage mutant ninja turtles and I love it.

The turtles, bebop and rocksteady, rat king and Rahzar are the one ones with their original voices. Everyone else has new voices.

The fight against Tempest ra is quite an interesting one as she brings in Tokka and Razer, who were bosses in TMNT3.
