This is the first time I ever saw this video and OMG, that note she held goes beyond control status. I have never heard anyone else ever hold a note so pure and with control on any of these competition shows, besides maybe Leona Lewis. WOW!

This girl has an incredible voice and she's still so young, it's like she's holding a weapon that she's not quite qualified to use yet, like she's on a huge and powerful motorcycle but her feet don't quite touch the ground - she was pitchy, but she's so young still anyway that it doesn't matter because she has time to perfect this. I think she will be shooting the stars in a few years if she cares to navigate fame and the music industry.
She did Katy Perry proud. I’m sure of it and Kelly Clarkson that can sing anything better watch out because she’s coming for the title. .Just my opinion ❤️
I just wish she didnt have to have her hair done and all the makeup bc she looked beautiful during her audition and they changed her so much.

liked her hair not the make up. it was really over the top. I have no idea what was simons problem. she is a great singer. she gave an amazing performance both times. forming a group? what kind of b*** is this. he like changed his opinion completely. one moment she was a rising star the next she needs a group. thumbs down for Simon. hope she will continue developing and have the career she deserves. only 15. would have loved to hear the mom sing. I am sure she has a great voice

Honestly, Simon was wrong but not completely. IMO she has an incredible and powerful voice similar to Whitney Houston and Beyonce. She shouldn't be singing over produced songs like Fireworks. Those kind of songs are for people who sing decently but not good enough for powerful and complex vocals.
Maybe she just needed some dancers behind her and better background set up

Too bad abt this performance. She got hair extensions and too much make up. I love the 1st performance of Whitney Houston's song. But she may have her peak with that song. This song wasnt a great choice. But i really like her.
Simon is so wrong. She needs to find more songs like the one she sang at her audition and not that over produced crap the queen of garbage pop sings. She needs to be less produced in her own look too. Whoever did her hair and makeup must have thought he was dressing a streetwalker and not a talented young singer.
