- It's always a good idea to book your stays in advance, especially on weekends, as Matheran can get busy. However, you can try your luck and find a good room on the same day, but availability might be limited.
- The average charges for a one-night stay in Matheran vary depending on the type of accommodation and season. You can expect to pay anywhere from ₹1,500 to ₹5,000 per night.
- To get a confirmed ticket from Aman Lodge to Matheran, please note that the ticket windows open 45 minutes before the train departure time. To avoid long queues, especially on weekends, I recommend getting in line at least 90 minutes before the departure time. This will give you a better chance of securing your tickets smoothly.
Tips: Book your tickets and accommodations well in advance, especially during peak season. Plan to arrive at the ticket window early to secure your tickets, especially on weekends when the crowd is larger.
