Glad to see you're back with another new BM single. 💯
They did it again with this epic anthem as the perfect opener for this new album, prior to this all the tracks were already teased with the full titles, can't wait for Time Wave and Light and Darkness, but so far all the songs sounds really good.
Some are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance with this stage setup and aesthetic. Here's some official info about this song:

Last weekend at Makuhari Messe they made two great live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones.
This song was already released a couple of weeks ago audio only, so isn't new but we were expecting this live proshot version although we'll have to wait next month for live sound.
There were many news and announcements, probably they will have a new official member (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1 (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama, so stay tuned for more.
If you're looking for the one behind this song you can find the credits with the official lyrics pinned in the comments, and if you track them down, one of them is the same producer KobaMetal, and the arranger is the same behind songs like Meta Taro and Oh MAJINAI! both songs with folk metal elements.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29 and I believe it was filmed on Day-2. I witnessed both shows. Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. Oh oh oh o o o. What a happy experience!! After this opening, 3 girls performed with Momoko Avenger, one of support dancers.
You saw 3 thrones at 03:19 in your video. BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌

Great reaction. Yes I think It is fair to say BABYMETAL are probably the biggest metal oriented band in Japan right now - they seem able to put on the biggest shows in the biggest venues at least (but I am not in Japan and I may be completely ignorant of other bands in which case I'm sure somebody will jump in to correct me - I know they are bigger than the other Japanese bands I know of). Internationally they are the most successful Japanese band of all time.
This will be the opening track on the album being released 24th March - and of course they used it as the epic and theatrical opening number for their concerts (their first in nearly 2 years) last weekend at the Makuhari Messe (two nights, both sold out 25k people each night) - that was where this was filmed.🤘🦊🤘We will have to wait for the DVD to get the live audio I think, this video was released within a week of the concerts where it was filmed, so it makes sense for them to have used the studio audio.
From the other songs they have released and the snippets of the other songs on the album I have heard it does feel to me like, aside from whatever the concept is, they are highlighting Su-metal's vocals.
Well done spotting there were 3 thrones. At the end of the concert on Sunday night they teased there may be a new third member to be revealed in their next concerts on 1st and 2nd April.

I saw them in Philadelphia and they were awesome , but those stages are only set up in Japan - I plan on flying over to Japan to see the epic show .

Actually, you already summarized it perfectly: "This is absolutely epic!".
"What is the three thrones?" And the three coffins in the end of the show... the speculation says that they will introduce a new official member during their next concerts on April 1st and 2nd.
"They must have one hell of a budget". They better have. The official merch and the tickets for the concerts are not cheap... at all. They sold out easily two nights x 25.000 people each in Japan. But they are still a niche group. I wouldn't say huge.
"I need to see these guys" Absolutely! So do I. I'm only three months away! 😁
And yes, this song has been written to be the album and the live shows opener.

You dont have to sacrifice anything, but if you do, remember to do it in honor of the FOX GOD.
I was fortunate enough to be there for these concerts at Makuhari last week, and it was even more spectacular in person than it looks on video. Su has never looked and sounded more powerful and majestic than she did here. She is truly the Queen.
Babymetal's stadium shows in Japan are on a whole other level. If you want to experience Babymetal in their full glory, you have to make the trip to Japan to be there and experience it with the Japanese and international fan community. I made the pilgrimage, and it was worth every cent it took to get there.

There has been two previous times I have said Su has never looked and sounded so beautiful to me. 1st was Legend S No Rain No Rainbow. 2nd was Legend M Shine. Now I HAVE to add a 3rd time. Su looked beyond enchanting and sounds amazing. I mean look at 6:30. That Beautiful Death Glare.
Moa as always is beautiful and I love her English pronunciation Like I said before her voice is pure warmth. Moa at 5:52 so powerful. No one better call her Small! 😁

Welcome back. It’s been a while.
All BabyMetal songs (in my opinion) are written with performance in mind. after all LIVE is where Suzuka, Moa and the Kami’s are at their best ( only the most talented can say this).
From what I understand most of the main musicians were present in the Kami Band for the two concerts last weekend (this was from day 2 I believe). It was the opening song on both nights and is the first song on the upcoming album.
A permanent third member is rumored to be announced at their April 1 concert in Yokohama which incidentally is the birth place of Yui Mizuno (yes I know wishful thinking). If so it will possibly be Momoko who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been touring with them since 2019. But as always we will see.
They have also released two other songs…a visualizer (Divine Attack) and a lyric video (Monochrome) from their upcoming album (to be released in March).

Yes this album seems to so far be made to play live. The have edged away from the Kawaii and moved towards epic metal.👊🏽⚡️
