As a follow up to this video I checked with my Yamaha dealer today and found out that my 2020 FX Cruiser HO's VIN number is captured under a Yamaha service bulletin where a new software update is available that will calibrate the gas gauge more accurately. I plan to get it done in the next few weeks and see if I notice any difference!
You are a few behind unless you went back and watched some of the older ones (which I appreciate)! Next video releases Sunday at 8:00am. Glad you liked this one!
Loved the manatees and the springs. I think I would have freaked when running out of gas. I should have known that you carried extra gas with you. I’d like to do that trip with you one day.
Thanks for the feedback....! You can search Bobs Place on You Tube and see it in action... in the day... I said oops when I reached for the paddle and could not reach it... then saw the swim fins.... 😀
This is a really cool video. The underwater manatee shots and cave diving were awesome. Looked a bit chilly but I loved the fall colors. Glad you managed the gas situation well, the flipper was a good idea.
I am assuming you watched the two part series... yes it was a good way to get to know the river and share with others... now I want to go back and hit certain spots (mainly springs) and enjoy it on an afternoon. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it.! Bob
We were there in November. What a blast. Can’t wait to ride it again. At turtle springs if you dive down, you will see a fake human skeleton. We saw several people slip and fall on the concrete steps at Little River. Pretty common occurrence there I was told lol Did you see any sturgeon jumping?
I did not see any jumping sturgeon happily... I could see easily falling on those stairs! Glad you enjoyed the video; another one coming out Sunday am!
The sun helps everything ... I compared this trip video to the one from last week with a cloud cover snd the difference is remarkable. Glad you enjoyed it ! It was a pretty pet of the river!
After another gentleman remarked about the low water at Turtle Springs I looked at the river a bit different during the day and agree; it had gotten pretty low! I wold not have made it to Royal Springs.
Thank you for the feedback… glad you like the content and yes you could ride this very large river with your jet boat. Just don’t go north any further than I did where I turned around. There are shoals just north of there. Hope this helps. Bob
The Seadoo is configured differently of course and it is quite a reach to reach out with a 5 gal can and hold it on a 2020 WaveRunner .... I may try in the future but I was not keen on dropping the container in the river trying for the first time. I am sure plenty of folks will say they do it. But the main reason I did not try was that my first instinct was to get out of the middle of the river where I was sort of like a floating duck and did not want a boat to come flying around the river bend and and not be able to avoid me.

👍 Awesome video 📹 💯
Love all those springs.
Yes it is crazy how many different springs there are that feed into that river!
Great video! Looking forward to the next one!

Beautiful area 👍
Yes, this portion of the river has lots to offer!
Looks great Bob!
Thanks, I appreciate any and all feedback!
A wonderful video. So Gald you made it back okay.
Thank you! Yes just had to get to shore and put more gas in! Glad there was little traffic on the river that day as I paddled to shore. :-)

Thank you, I can easily repeat that trip with you when you get your WaveRunner... it was challenging
Great video. The river was like glass, and no other boaters. Nice McGyver move to use the fin. Bob’s Place sure looked fun.

Born and raised on that river. Dot Hill Ranch.
Nice … where is Dot Hill Ranch? Thanks for watching. Bob
@@BobBroeking Off 349 just north of Rock Buff Springs.

Manatees! I want to visit Bob's place on the river

That is great, thank you Mike. Bob
Great video! when things get better out there need to come down and do that run with you looks amazing!
Yes, lets all get the vaccine and do some trips!
That water is really low now. When I was at Little River Springs there was only a rocky shore to stop. That was 1 month ago.

@@BobBroeking not that day
Hi Bob I really enjoy your vids. I saw some full-size boats along the banks. Would they allow my 20-foot Sea-Doo jet boat to operate on this river?

You got your upper body work out in at 10:10 and enjoy a day on the water.
Yeah, it worked , not efficiently, but it worked
Couldn't you fuel up on the water?
I can fill my Sea-Doo while on the ski.

Ugh, deep muck is the worst
All day long I could have stepped off into solid sand, except when I run out of gas....lol
