Nice pick ups mate. That Judge Dredd art is sick! Comic "Cons" seem to always be about cosplay and pop culture while Comic "Fairs" seem to be the place for comic collectors. I hope to be able to attend an overseas con one day 🤘

Thanks Simon! I agree, comic "Cons" and "Fairs" certainly have their own unique vibes. If you get chance, you should try to attend one of the big US cons someday - there really is nothing like it especially the likes of HeroesCon and Terrficon.

I love the European versions with all the little extras attached. I used to get similar bonuses on books I picked up in Greece

Thanks CJ! The UK/European versions do have some cool extras; what sort of stuff came with books you grabbed in Greece?

Back from overseas so rather late to this video. Sad to hear that Emerald City is much more pop culture than comics, this is why I don't bother with the Aussie cons like Supanova - they don't even reply to emails asking which comics creators will attend. And $45 just to get in the door? I'd rather spend the money buying back issues from an online dealer.
As impressive as Captain Britain #1 is, I'm even more impressed that you have the UK Secret Wars #1 with the transfers attached; I've never seen one of those anywhere before, only read about it.
Definitely time for you to do a video specifically on Panini's Marvel Comics stickers and albums, David.

Thanks as always you for sharing your thoughts and experiences @charliedogg7683! It's interesting to hear about your perspective on the conventions and the comic scene; I agree, but still can't resist the buzz of the showfloor even with the diminshed comic book representation - especially when your favourite creators are going to be there.
I'm very proud with that Secret Wars #1 still has all the original inserts and transfer untouched. Can't wait to see how CGC grade and treat it. Considering submitting it at Heroes Con later this month.
I love your suggestion on the Panini Marvel Comics Secret Wars sticker album. Hope to complete it and then do a video showcasing the entire book.
