😊Aliexpress is legit. Unfortunately when covid hit, most stores went from free shipping to charging a lot of amount, which defeats the purpose.
Stareted ordering from 2014. I've ordered hair, clothes, shoes, accessories, phone covers, smartwatch straps, hair tools, etc. It used to take a month to arrive in SA, 3 months at most, a delay by our SAPO. Hair has always been door delivery, free shipping.
Last order was Nov, 2021 delivered. Post Offices closing put me off. If there's an alternative. I'll try it.

I purchased from Ali 2 years back, and my understanding is that they used Post Office, I received my order after 7 months after a lot of follow up with the post office. I believe though that you can check with the supplier to use an alternative shipping method, which is costly.

I bought at Allie express about three times, all items hair and sunglasses. I received them as per time frames. Also another person said it’s better to pay with a PayPal account.

Buyer protection. They give you your money back if you don't get them within the stipulated time. If you don't get the order Ali or seller auto confirms delivery. That's when you log a dispute. Ideally, enquire about your delivery closer to the delivery date, so you have proof that you contacted the seller about before disputing with Ali.
