EW's raids run complete opposite ends with their final bosses. Eulogia is a loving god made of multiple people, who adore all their children, and willingly die to return to the lifestream just to help them more.
Meanwhile Athena wants to BE a god, caring for no one but herself, and will kill everyone to become it - even spitefully attempting to destroy the lifestream when defeated. EW really shows the difference what love and believing in others changes in people, whether here or Zero & Golbez.
It's a fun parallel with Dante's Divine Comedy. Myths of the Realm represents Paradiso, the MSQ represents Purgatorio and Pandaemonium represents Inferno. Goblez' original name, Durante, is even Dante Alighieri's (assumed) real name - hence why the tomestones are Tomesones of Comedy.
I like that the raid is a story about gods who wanted to have fun one last time before disapear
Athena was also willing to sacrifice her own son to achieve her goals, meanwhile the twelves sacrificed themselves so it would make us stronger
Beautifully put. God I love this game.
EW MSQ Spoiler
And Durante in the end was not a real bad person, he feelt guilty for losing his best friend and Hero the real Golbez (how was maybe also a Part of Azem?) and in his try to honor the legacy of his lost friend he got tricked from the ascians to cause the Flood of Darkness.. in the end he dont want really to be a conquerer but im sure it is a mix of guilt, shame and lost hope.. he was in the end. "Just fuck it.. i just want my people the Salvation of death to escape the Hell that _I_ create even if i must conquer a other World." because he didnt believe that is not longer possible to save the 13th.. until Zero proves him wrong.
He sufferd terrible for his sins and now try to use his second chance
After killing our mom, now they kill our 12 uncles/aunts too 😢
At least an uncle still remains watching his nieces and nephews…
I will honor my beloved Halone with the greatest battle of her entiry existence!
don't worry, the orphan powers you get as a result will make the next expansion even more of a cakewalk than it already will be.
At least our dads are still watching over us... one more enthusiastically than the other, admittedly.
@@Leafwind but...Zodiark's dead too, isn't he?
Eulogia means blessing in Greek, but also invoke eulogy, a praise for a person who recently passed away. Fitting for this fight, the Twelves give the people of Etheirys their blessing while also bidding them farewell
It's a very clever name for the boss
What's more tragic, is no one will really know who they are, but a handful of people.
@@Xport9 Ouch.. :(
@@Xport9 I'd argue that the greater tragedy still is that people will continue to praise and have faith in The Twelve, possibly until the very end of the Star, while never once realizing that the gods that they worship are dead.
Thanks for making me cry
This boss’s ultimate attack is Eudaimon Eorzea.
In the Greek term, a “daimon” is a magical being or thing that gives, provides, or distributes something. “Eudaimon” specifically would refer to good things; happiness and joy.
So their final attack could be read as “Eorzea, The Bringer of Joy”. Fitting for the happiness they felt in their work; and the gift they want to give in return.
Eulogia was used in early christianism to call what is now called the Holy Eucharist, the christian rite celebrating and honoring Christ's love for humans and his willingness to give his being as a divine entity to mankind out of love.
Bringing us joy by blasting us with a beam of destructive light, I love it lmao
Also noticed that every single hit from that attack has a different name
So each of the 12 gets to hit you once during their ultimate

Amazing how many different ways Soken can adapt the original Final Fantasy theme song and still create something new and marvelous each time
If this is Soken, the FFXIV team consists of around a dozen different composers/arrangers, just Soken is the one that stays in the spotlight. Whoever did do this thuogh did an amazing job!
This does sounds like his style, with the way he usually distorts the singing voices and the use of leitmotifs. Anyway, usually he is in charge, but nice job whoever did this. They have my praises, regardless.@@FretsonFireTracks
@@FretsonFireTracksI think it usually a mixture of Soken and another composer. Like he writes or helps write the song, then either he or one of the other composers arrange. Kind of like how he didn't arrange The Final Day but we know he worked on it since he switched the Maker's Ruin segment from phase 1 to phase 2. Either way, all the composers for this game are amazing.
This doesn’t sound like a Soken arrangement to me
Wouldn't be surprised if this was a Yoshitaka Suzuki track. He's the specialist of epic sounding tracks. He did Shinryu, Hades, Zodiark, Endsinger, O12 and E12 to give you an idea
7 months later, I FINALLY REALIZED WHY THE FIRST FEW PIANO KEYS ARE HITTING SO FUCKING HARD! IT THE SAME KEY PRESSES WITH A DIFFERENT TEMPO AS THE INTRO TO THE INN THEME BEHIND CLOSED DOORS! FUCK! LITERALLY 'PUTTING THEM TO REST" :*)

"yes"
"Who's the final boss of the Endwalker expansion?"
"Literally everyone"
would be cool if at some point in the fight if you stand on your patron’s sigil you got like a damage boost or something
I was hoping for some mechanic that involved the sigils.
When the Whorl pops and it flashes the twelve on your screen I stg I got DSR ptsd
90% of the raid, who fantasiad their patron after the second a-raid, standing on Nophicas symbol.
My Viera, her brother and one of my Lalafells would have all been on Thaliak's sigil so freaking fast if that was the case lol
24 man raids, party making according to their character's patron's sigil. Each patron 2 WoL
The Twelve saying goodbye broke my heart. It's so bittersweet and sad. I was crying so much in the cutscene after the final boss fight.
As did I.. I was going to stream it on Twitch, but luckily I didn't as I was blubbing like a baby :(
Not to mention the music. Whoever on the dev team decide to hit us with the Answers + Dynamis back to back combo in that cutscene is a evil genius.
@@Phoenix-cc7xb It was kind of nice really. After having a bunch of evil gods across multiple media, having a pantheon that legitimately loved their devotees was refreshing.
I knew the moment that G’raha said their essences were being diluted after the fights. I knew. “…oh god. They want us to kill them. They want release.” It hurt so much. 😭
I figured it out mid fight and had watery eyes in the fight
Endsinger is the final boss for endwalker, but this is the true final boss after you've done all of the side quests and post game content.
Between the music in the Omphalos going away and the whole thing changing when you get back, it really does feel like a 'you got all the cosmic keystones from the side quests so the omphalos changes to add a stairway to the true final boss arena'
Call that shit Unlimited Eulogia
Nothing else in Endwalker beats the final boss that is Hephaistos.

@@voistar5387 Ultimate Twelve raid when?
@@TSLsmokey I would unironicly would 100% support that if they did it.
@@voistar5387 Oh me as well, I would outright make it my mission to clear whatever I needed to in order to try it.
@@voistar5387 That ultimate attack was definitely one of my favorite moments, it was so awesome!
This raid was quite possibly the best. The story was so good, the music was absolutely beautiful, and the visuals were stunning.
As a 1.0 player, it felt... very bittersweet. The Twelve, who we've known for over a decade have finally deigned to appear and have their fun, just to say goodbye. Everything legacy is gone: the Empire, Ascians, Hydaelyn, Zodiark, and now the Twelve.
As I watched them all say goodbye, I actually cried a bit. Our era is finally over.
Well, almost.
There are _still_ some "major" Ascians unaccounted for (namely Pashtarot, Halmarut, Deudalaphon and Altima).
Otherwise, yeah...
@@elinfinithere could even technically be multiples of the same ascian around as well, seeing as theoretically emet or elidibus couldve raised up a new loghrif or mitron while they were stuck on the first. if any ascian got stuck ‘out of play’ there wouldnt have been any reason an unsundered couldn’t have raised up a new one to take their place. so yeah, theoretically we could have a lot still set in place :)
@@NajaSide nah, mere sundered Ascians are small fry at this point. However, there is something else.
Primal Bahamut may be gone, but the score is still 1-1. and I'd sooner admit that Athena is a well-written character than believe that Bahamut Prime was the wyrm at his best.
It's way past time that the player got to fight Bahamut at his full strength.
Well, considering Bahamut as a whole is dead and the primal that was him was a mockery, only regenerating due to enforced faith, which was shut off as of Turn 11... seems quite unlikely that will ever come to pass.@@christopherbravo1813

Though Azeyma wanted to follow in Venat and ‘her successor’s’ footsteps.
Now we all know that Venat’s successor, and current seat of Azem IS the Warrior of Light.
Makes sense why Azeyma mentions we give her the sensation of warmth and comfort. It’s because she knew us from before the Sundering. She knew Azem.

Rip cosplayers who cosplay this boss
not sure if this boss will be even popular to have a fanart. the individual gods are more popular
Still a crazy design though; I can sense a couple cosplayers would willingly make and wear this- even if it makes it impractical to do anything more than walk a few feet in- purely out of interest of proving they can
Yeah the cosplayers I know would take this as a challenge 🤣
@@jacobsiron6929 Walk a few feet then have to rest for a breather. Not sit, mind you! Because you could imagine having to stand up after sitting in that outfit?
1:57 I got goosebumps when the chorus sang the theme of Final Fantasy
WoL: So ah... I _may_ have killed the Twelve.
Everyone: You _WHAT!_
Gaius: Oh NOW you want to cast out your gods...
WoL: Know that I'll kill your god if I have to. Maybe even if I don't.
"Unto the star, we surrender our all!"
What a glorious transformation of Eli's line. Not for victory, not for humanity, not for anyone or anything in particular. And where Eli rendered his all, desparate to claw back those halcyon days - the twelve surrender theirs, entrusting the future to whomever might live through it.
My only issue with this Is that I wish we had both this for this fight and a vocal track dedicated to Oschon, derived from the Thaleia theme, like we got the last two times. Would have felt more complete. Otherwise it fits really well and the drop at the FF theme is really cool.
Oschon DESERVES his own theme man
I know Square probably had neither the time nor the budget for it, but I wish every member of The Twelve got his or her own vocal track.
In the Balance and Dedicated to Moonlight were great not only because they were well-made, but because they fully encapsulated the way in which they were viewed by those who worshipped them. I think it would have been nice for the rest of the pantheon to have that too.
I cried during this because it was such a good homage too all the fights we've done so far, including old sprinkles of past expansions. Hearing answers at the end when they all got absorbed into the lifestream had me balling.
What people forget is this song is meant to be a eulogy, an end of an era.
Just a personal wish, I wish there was a lot more chaos with pulling mechanics from all the bosses.
Not saying I hated the fight.
Complete opposite. I wanted more, more, and MORE the whole time!
maybe, but I can't help but feel that the next one will be more...empty, with just how much this world no longer has.
@@toodleselnoodos6738 well maybe you shouldn't have beaten them within an inch of their lives before they did the fusion dance?
XD
Like many others I was disappointed that this wasn’t an upbeat lyrical song. But then I thought about the context. For Aglaia we were fighting the gods thinking they had mal intent for the star, for Eusophrayne we were sparring/playing with them when we learned they were good, but now we are honoring their wishes to be sent to this world’s afterlife so especially the first 30 seconds of the song are somber.
Took me awhile to actually makes this song grow on me, the context adds so much
I was only disappointed.
It's in the bosses name, Eulogia, as in a eulogy for the departed, but it Eulogia can also be interpreted as "blessing". The Twelve are giving us their blessing.
Fuck upbeat lyrical songs. On one hand, I do still like them, but holy shit XIV players will only heavily gas up songs from the game if they contain vocals. Mostly female vocal ones, they are hella overrated. Stuff like To the Edge though? Peak fiction
you know it's the ultimate boss when they use *the final fantasy theme* for the battle.
Thaleia was some of the first content I ever got played on release. I love this raid series so much; definitely made me cry. plus as as someone who picked Oschon as a deity, I thought he was soooo cool. I know everyone says these raids are too easy, and yeah that's true, but this will probably always be up there with Ivalice as my favorite alliance raid series.
This makes me wish they put more into the deities and would have picked differently
The fact that Soken tied in the main theme of Final Fantasy here is the best way to honor/say goodbye to the Twelve.
There is such a beautiful sadness to this song.
The quick silence of the band for the choir and then the drop gives me goosebumps every time
As someone who also only played FFXII & XIII before XIV this music is very nostalgic.
1:58 - The build-up of "World Apart" here sends CHILLS all the time.
It does make sense- they're artificial constructs built to follow a duty, but they're also ancients so their duty ended and they wanted to go home, so to speak.
Like Hydalen... she was just hanging on for the right moment you needed her
Not gonna lie, I don't think anyone could come up with a better way to end such an amazing storyline. This was, at least in *_my personal opinion,_* a perfect conclusion to the Myths of the Realm storyline and the story of the Ancients in its entirety.
And in light of all that hate and disappointment that's been directed towards the game as of late, I feel the need to make something clear. This game is a Final Fantasy game first, and an MMO second. The story is this game's true heart and soul and the _real_ reason why this game is as universally beloved as it is now. And this is something people really do need to understand nowadays. You're always free to offer your own opinions on the subject, and as Yoshi-P himself said at one point, if you ever find yourself feeling bored with this game, then just go play another. The world of Etheirys will always be waiting for you to come back. It may be a simple answer, but sometimes simple is best. For my part, I've still got a boatload of other things to play during those lulls where there isn't much else to do, so... there you have it.
"The world of Etheirys will always be waiting for you to come back."
will it, though?
FF XIV may be a Final Fantasy game, but it is still an MMO.
and every MMO has an expiration date.
besides, what is even left at this point to come back to?
the Garlean Empire, the Primals, the Ascians, Zodiark and Hydaelyn, the Twelve...all of it's been explored, demystified, and destroyed in that order.
all that remains is a shadow of a world that has nothing left to offer except a soulless postmodern "fantasy" world that is rapidly casting off the shroud of Tolkienism that has until now disguised it's lack of substance beyond the narrative.
maybe it'd be better if this was *the* conclusion.
maybe it'd be better if this journey finally came to an end.
@@christopherbravo1813 FFXI is still online to this date, came out I had no idea what a MMO was, and I get to experience it now, 20+ years later, pretty sure XIV is going to be there for a while still !

When my friends dragged me through it the day of release, I had no idea it would end this way. That, and the tankbusters would instantly delete this one drk we had in another alliance every time.
I truly love this music. So beautifully made! ❤
One criticism is somewhat of a spoiler:
It should have been harder. The final boss should have had combos with the different attacks. Like the moonlight attack with spear thrusts meaning you have to run toward the boss rather than just simply running normally. Or Byregot hammer with Rhalgr fist attack. Idk some combos to really test your memory and make it not easy.
I agree with you, it was cool that the entire fight is a call back to all the twelve, but they should had done more with the combinations.
They should had at least made that each set of gods would had some mechanics combination (Byregot and Rhalgr, Azeyma and Nald'thal, etc)
Would have loved the finishing hit of Eudaimon Eorzea needing tank LB3. It would be a fitting testament to the strength of hopes and prayers the Twelve have amassed over the eons.
I think they're scared of making "pleb level" content like alliance raids too difficult. It's a shame
I'm just glad I was able to die at all in this fight in the ones before it I was basically collecting vuln stacks and not dying kinda feel like over compensation for the nier raids where a few mechanics would just 1 shot you if you mess them up
I think it’s at a good difficulty. Yes, it would be cool if it was harder, but my friends and I got pretty messed up on our first run, so I’m not complaining too much
Thank you for always uploading these songs! I loved this send off and the ending is so bittersweet it got me in tears. Can't wait for dawntrail alliance raids and beyond \o/
The boss' lines for this were so good.
"Shine like the stars on high..."
I think as a whole the music doesn’t go as hard as In The Balance, but the 0:39 renditions of “A New Dawn” track from ARR with all the fights during the Alliance Raid goes SOOOOO HARD, it gave me insane chills watching the trailer.
I liked this one the most visually and gameplay wise, Agalia from the music as a whole, and then Euphrosayne wasn’t bad!! Still top 3 alliance raids in the game (all from EW but shhhh) just the Dedicated To Moonlight and Rhytem of the Heavens are just solid
Man, we FINALLY do something with the Twelve, and then just when it's getting good they're gone forever...
This fight was f-in chaos. The music, the majesty, the mechanics. I loved every second of it.
But why does the wolf head on their chest have a mustache?!
Because Menphina and Dalamud wove the subtext of "Into the Woods" into their mythology? Just be happy Dalamud doesn't have a giant hanging dong.
The church bells are a nice touch.
Thank you for uploading this raid series' soundtrack! Very fun bouts with the gods and a bittersweet but happy ending nonetheless. I greatly suggest/request a compilation of all the Myths of the Realm Alliance Raid theme songs in one video before the album is out. This raid series soundtrack is so good that it helps me focus on studying, lol. Literally, praise the Twelve and the sound team!
I'll admit, for the final fight the last thing I expected was Myths of the Realm (Ultimate)...
Also as an aside, Eulogia's voice sounds remarkably similar to High Seraph Ultima. An amusing coincidence, perhaps.
If you think about it, Ultima is like an evil version of the Twelve. Originally alien, it was revered as a god on Etheirys and the fervor of that faith shaped it and made it transcend into the form we fight in-game.
The final fight of the ivalice alliance raid also recycled mechanics from its previous raids
I am always so thankful whenever I run thaleia and enjoying the look, the music and just everything ♥
just listening to this song brings me to tears and it's wrecking my shit
What an incredible finale. They did justice to the 12 TO SAY THE LEAST.
I'm so glad they didn't go for a cheesy vocal song for the ending of the raid. The big finale with the gods that have existed in the lore since 1.0 deserved a grandiose Final Fantasy style orchestral song and happy that's exactly what they got, with the FF main theme included to boot.
This theme hits so hard my heart :(((

This fight was so fun them music was great and the boss design was beautiful I really loved it❤
The interlude with the bells is brilliant
I dont care how much some people try to say this was bad, this was my favorite raid series. Where as the others either had good mechanics but lack interesting visuals and story, or good story but unfun mechanics or visuals, this raid had a great story, great music and visuals, and the mechanics were fun even if easy sometimes. Don't need mechanics to be Thunder God Day-One levels of unbalanced difficulty to be fun and frankly I find these mechanics better then NieR, Void, Crystal, and the first two tiers of Ivalice, minus math boss and Yizmat, they are the exceptions in that list.
Edit: Also we found the Promises to Keep of the expansion. Also lets salute the 3d modeler, background artists, and VFX artist for this fight because damn. This boss looked like it was doing an Ultimate Enrage during the ultimate attack.
Agreed. While I understand people wanting harder mechanics, I still think this raid did really well at establishing what it was going for. The visuals, the story, the beauty, the bosses being so animated. It was a spectacle in each of these raids. Everything was pleasing to the eye. I get some of the mechanics were easy but the mechanics were still very fun to do. I rather do a dance that is fun and pleasing to the eye even if its easy. Like I have never gotten bored of doing any of these raids more than once and I always turn up the music for them. They captured the essence of what they were going for with this raid series.
tbh, my second favourite song from all the game is dedicated to moonlight
Imagine trying to portray it as the loud minority. Sorry but you're the minority if you really think this raid series is above the likes of ivalice. Ivalice is just objectively better well designed especially with difficulty.
@@kizuyakatogami528 ngl, i prefer this one more, i like the music and ambience more, but this story is meh
I’m fine with this raid being pretty easy, cause it was fun as fuck. Hugely enjoyed every moment of the fights, thought the environment was beautiful, none of the songs were misses, the mechanics were engaging but not frustrating. A hard raid that isn’t fun, like Dun Scaith, is way worse than a fun raid that isn’t hard.
this was so damn good😭
prolly not the place to ask but the ending made me think- when unsundered ancients who have returned to the lifestream (i.e. the twelve, emet-selch, hythlodaeus) are reborn, will their souls remain unsundered? they're fucking huge, imagine having to give birth to baby byregot and then he starts creating things with his mind.
its still pretty much unconfirmed but they are very likely to be sundered and split into shards like us do, although seeing as emet and hyth are there to help us during our final moments, i assume that they can decide whether or not they want to be reborn or not. elidibus chose to do it so we might see him in the future.
sundered souls will most likely follow what their previous unsundered version does, a clear example being azem and their sundered shards.
logically I believe all the dead join together in a universal goo inside the aetherial sea, then used as fuel for new life to come, so I think they are not reborn 1:1 but newly born creatures can carry fragments from the aether of the dead
didnt check if this was 100% canon, this is just how it makes sense to me
I believe this was answered in a panel, one of the writers just mentioned that since u sundered people hadn't died in recent times they hadn't thought about it. But if they had to guess, they'd just be reborn as normal people with quite a high and above average aether manipulation skills.
Endsinger is the final boss of Endwalker, but Eulogia is the final boss of Final Fantasy XIV
what a wild fight
Such a beautiful raid series. Although I was not ready to say goodbye to the twelve
What a banger. What a story! What an amazing raid series! I loved everything.
In my opinion this has to be the best Endwalker alliance raid music-wise. I only wish the fights were considerably harder, it felt like the devs went easy on the mechs so that we could enjoy the spectacle.
And I for once do not think that's a bad thing. I can have fun without needing the raid to be super hard.
I crIED SO MUCH WITH THIS LAST SERIES OW MY HEART 😭
It was awesome battling and conversing with my patron Menphina in this expansion! This was an awesome send off for the 12!
The music just invokes so much emotion. Like I hate bittersweet stuff but this music was fantastic. Shame the alliance raid I did ended with me not doing the fight :l But the music still top tier.
While waiting for a duty pop, I often just sit around Oschon's Embrace and look for players who had just completed the raid, because they need a godsdamn /hug.
I adore this track. 0:32 to 0:55 gives me chills.
Anyone else mourning? 😢
Yeah. I don't RP, but I have had a pretty set backstory for my my WoL since I started back in closed ARR beta. He's a big follower of Nymeia, keeping a "lucky gil" (the face on gil is Nymeia) that he'd flip when he has to make a decision that either choice doesn't have any obvious benefits or drawbacks over the other (treasure dungeon doors are a good example), trusting The Spinner to guide him true. So having to end her, along with the rest of the Twelve would've messed him up a bit, probably would have to had taken a week off adventuring just to parse the whole thing. And since my character had such a connection, it made me a bit sad by proxy. 😆
@@RaideDuku Nymeia was my patron deity too. It's still so hard for me! When they were revealed to be ancients, it was like an extra blow to the heart. I still haven't recovered.
@@RaideDuku yeah my bun from Sharlayan is a very devout follower of Thaliak (she has a necklace with his symbol on it that she has not taken off since her 18th birthday) so she definitely did not take having to help end him well at all, she had to go on a camping trip out to Thavnair to process it all and cry while her brother did all the 6.5 patch stuff up to Zeromus (she'd promised him she'd come heal for that lol)
Mom, I did not sign up for this surprise feel trip!
I did not expect a boss whose name means "Blessing" in Greek
Thanks for sharing this; I could not hear the music over the din of everyone using all the abilities.
i finally got to fight my god and IT WAS GLORIOUS
Pandemonium had its fun fights, but I cant help but wonder what the raid tier would like if it was the twelve. I would probably have more fun with this fight in savage than p12 lol
I love that pandemonium and myths of the realm are both references to Dante's divine comedy
Fun fact: while Eulogia just seems to mean the word "eulogy" in English, it actually has a unique meaning in the Ancient Greek that it stems from -- "a blessing" :)
They're.... They're BEAUTIFUL!!! T_T
Even when this doesnt have much vocals like the first two. This music hits really hard more than it is after you completed the quest
in all my years as a Final Fantasy fan, this might be the Most Final Fantasy Thing I've ever seen (affectionate)

Dear Soken,
Miss even once.
Sincerely,
The Laws of Probability
After running this a second time last night I gotta say it’s my absolute favourite of all 3. It was fun, the music gave me chills and the whole area was just stunning. I’m not sure if it’s tops Tower at Paradigm but it’s definitely in my top 5.
Bhunivelze (good timeline)
They were training us to fight them all fused together.
I was calling it from the get go that the Twelve would use Super Polymerization to fuse together and we’d have to deal with ALL of their mechanics. I didn’t know how right I was….
I certainly was not prepared to say goodbye in this way. All of their attacks, all of their feelings, even the call back with ARR in the song. Every bit of this was just the final loose ends being tied up from this amazing book we’ve all been a part of. Now we set sail on a brand new book
Well it was this or the Phoenix
Ook ook :(
Honestly, the beginning is the best part because you can hear the start of the credits and that was absolutely glorious
It’s peak.
I still can't belive that this is an MMO
Is it… possible that there are exactly 12 distinct vocalists for this piece?? 😮
This fight had me thinking of FF13, music included
Gdi I dont think I've teared up during an alliance raid story til now :'( The ARR ending theme Dawn of a New Era and classic FF leitmotifs are stronk. Unfortunate my deity Nymeia felt underrepresented but glad I got to see her and the twelve in their glory. Having the final boss named Eulogia after Eulogy as well, their love for mankind and their parting words... what a send off fitting of Endwalker
also appreciated finding out about the original 12 Ancients the Twelve is based on, how fitting they went like Venat in tearjerking farewells
Does anybody know if the melody from the first 25 seconds is a motif from somewhere else? I recognise everything else in the song, but that start just feels familiar in a way I can’t place... This song has me so emotional LOL it might be something obvious that I’m too weepy to recognise
Return of the Hero, it's a common refrain here and there throughout the game.
How did I not have the sound on for this
that opening to the fight had me thinking it was a nod to FFXI’s rhapsodies final boss and I got all giddy
So glad i rolled a 99 on this orch roll my first run
