- the good ending for karlach and astarion was requested so here it is. i uploaded the full thing for the flow of the convo but the special dialogue starts at around 3:33. i also included the special dialogue they have at the end where they discuss kissing.

Honestly I'd probably ship Karlach with Wyll, rather than Astarion: or Shart. Astarion and Karlach just don't seem to fit together

i just started playing the game and ive spoiled myself a lot already but i dont care at this point. seeing these two together is so fricking wholesome. these special interactions they have and the way they care for each other just makes me want to cry happy tears :,)

I find it interesting Astarion mentions he "might even like not being so frightening after all". He really is just a cinnamon roll deep deep down, huh? I really wish we got that line or a similar one in a normal Tav or Durge playthrough

omg that's so wholesome, but her engine isn't fixed by then? I'm surprised! Still, them being together but not being able to touch, that seems like it would be good for him. Learning how to love without being able to manipulate with sex like he does with Tav seems like it would be good for him. I may need to try playing as Karlach now!
That depends on iff you've spoken to Dammon or not, so it doesn't have to be fixed

Been looking through lots of Origin/Origin videos lately and It's crazy how much more autonomous and confident in his own decisions Astarion seems when he's romancing literally anybody but Tav. I wonder if that was intentional, or just poor writing to try to bridge the blank slate gap.

I truly believe if these two weren't a romance option for Tav they would end up together. They are so cute and wholesome together and they can help eachother.

I ended up fully romancing Astarion in my first play-through, doing everything he wanted, including ascension. I hated how cold he seemed afterwards, but we were solidly romanced, and in his own stringent, decadent, evil way, he still loved me. Hell, he even let me have big hunka-chunka Halsin on the side, including a five-some with the Drow Twins.
If I play again and romance him, I'll see if I can convince him not to ascend, to continue trying to embrace whatever goodness is inside of him. Strangely, perhaps, I liked him better when he was lost, broken, trying to find his way, and needing a friend to show him everything would be alright. Once he ascended, the love between us became a hollow shell of what it was. It made me legit sad as I continued playing the game. LOL
He went from Loki to Olaf real fast there, and I am dead.

@@SessVlogsUmm... no. He's definitely a very sexual person who's been abused and sex now triggers his PTSD. I really don't understand how people read him as ace unless they're bad at reading people, projecting or chose dialoge in game that didn't showcase that aspect of his character. I don't know how anyone can watch this scene with Karlach and still read him as ace, personally.

Game logic
It's actually most healing spells that don't work on the undead in D&D 5e. (Holy magic, etc) Potions sort of make sense, they're at least liquid. Tadpole shenanigans though
I don't think Karlach is the best match for Astarion. Dark urge all the way baby.
