Mani Ratnam’s genre is telling love stories. Three movies that are a masterclass for this genre are- Mouna Ragam (for gen X); Alaipayutae (for millennials); OKK (for gen Z)
Watching these three movies is enough to shape values; keep them grounded on realities on how working a marriage is where love really blossoms.

Rick, I know why you reacted like that.. when that bass string arrangement at background started at 4:30, thats where actually the real magic starts. and you can expect that kind of magical bass string arrangement only in A.R.RAHMAN sir composition... thats the reason why his music sounds different from the others..
It’s one of my all time favourites in this genre!! Their chemistry and the story is amazing especially the other elderly couple and their dynamics, forms a contrasting image, one that we often don’t see in this generation. Please do watch the movie!! You won’t regret it, especially the cinematography by the great P.C.Sreeram and music by ARR make it all the more beautiful! ❤🤌🏼
It is always a great song and at the end of the song you just have some kind of tears flowing through making you feel wow what a song you've heard... This movie was just great... The movie of today's kids, love, etc... Perfect lovable movie.... ❤
OK Kanmani is a must watch. The soundtrack is one of AR Rahman's best work.

Its an okayish song..but after Rick's reaction, it feels like this song is something different....Aye Sinamika and Theera Ulla are great songs from this movie.. There are great numbers from Lesa Lesa, 12B, Indian, Boys, Gentleman, Kadhalar Dinam, Kadhal Desam, May Madham etc etc..
