Thank you so much for this tutorial. im planning to get the same kit.. my mom recently passed away, and playing drums is the only thing that came to mind for me not to be so sad.. i had never owned a kit, but i played drums before although im not good at it.. i have been dreaming for a long time to have a kit of my own.. i hope that by playing drums again, it would help ease the pain of losing my mom.. i would definitely watch this again once im able to buy one.. thank you Rob!!

This video is super helpful, and I wish I would have found it before nearly finishing assembly hahaha. This was particularly helpful with the hi hat and clutch though!
good ol' chinese made production kit with the PDP badges on it. Even the toms are the old-style PEARL mounts vs the Clamp mounts. and these are pricey for just cheapie poplar shells. the hardware seems decent, but this is a $450 kit all day long. Cheers.

An hour or 2 should be sufficient if you've never done a setup before.
