TIP: If you don’t have the white stallion and ganon horse from the first game. They both can be found in TOTK. One above Skull lake and the other in between Hateno Bay and Deepback Bay

@@VincentMothling you can get him and all the horses you had from BOTW from save data, meaning you won’t need to look for them again. Just tame any horse and register it, then it’ll give you all your horses from the last game at the stable.
@Basment Boy I wanted to do that but the problem is I played BOTW on WIIU since I didn't own a switch when it came out. So my Epona (who I got from a friend's amiibo) and all are kinda gone 😅

sucks to be me because I have the Wii U version so I don’t think I can transfer my horses
I was surprised whenever I went to register epona and they said my inventory was full. I was like what I haven't even got a damn horse yet. And then realize then we're all my horses from breath of the wild. I love this game

While gliding to the geoglyph I noticed the golden horse without completing any of the quest line. Brought it back and the quest was complete. Just an FYI you can skip the other parts

You have to accept the lucky gazzette quest first because the horse is in the stable if you don't
@Oihan Gil Seslija not true I have also gotten on the horse before the quest started. I didn't register at the stable before starting the quest but I was for sure on the horses back when it was out in the wild
Yeah there's also ganons horse near Lurelin. It's somewhere on the coast
@@nuclearwar93 they meant the quest can’t trigger unless you do the lucky gazette quest (going to stables with Penn). You can get the horse and skip the quest that’s given AT the stable itself, but the horse will not be in the wild unless you have gone to the lucky gazette where Penn is initially (outside rito village)
You missed Spot! Talk to the stable NPC by the southern gate of lookout landing to trigger his quest. He’s my favourite special horse.
He reminded me of my black and white spotted dog so I named him after the dog and then found the horse god to make him the perfect horse in the game five stars in every category

If you have a save data from Breath of the Wild with Epona registered, you obtain this and all your registered horses (Including White Horse and Gannon Horse if you registered in BoTW)
You need to have epona registered from your BoTW safe file? I got Epona in ToTK and i don’t even own an amibo lol, how is it actually work then?

I have 2 Eponas, one from BOTW and the other form TOTK
If you registered Epona, Zelda’s and Ganons horse in BOTW they will be transferred to TOTK.
That means you can have 5 unique horses in the game.
if you have all the amiibo you probably have 2 eponas from botw, plus 2 in totk, and ive heard you can get ganons horse and the white stallion in totk as well, so 4 eponas, 2 giant horses, 2 white stallions, one giant white stallions, and one golden horse, for a total of 10 “unique” horses
Not will be. _Could_ be. If you have the save data loaded on the switch you're playing totk on at the time of you starting the game.
Ganon Horse is in totk
Unless you played Master Mode, for some inane reason. Biggest problem with the game for me so far, it ignores your Master Mode save!
@@RSmeep13 I think this only confirms that totk will get its own master mode. I mean, theres already been dlc data found, and master mode was very well received in botw
There's also a unique spotted horse running around north of the lookout landing.
Thats for a quest in lookout landing! After that you can find more spotted ones, oddly enough i found a solid rosegold one

Literally discovered zeldas golden horse on my own entirely by accident after i did the rito dungeon
For the golden horse, if you have the Taninoud Shrine unlocked in the the East Hebra Sky Archipelago, the Golden horse is right underneath. You can warp there and jump off to the right side and just glider drop right onto her back without needing to sneak or anything

Once you “soothe” the horse & it chills out, If you hold 5 apples & stand in front of the horse, it’ll eat the apples & give off the same “sparkle” as soothing does. Fast way to make the horse happy.
Not sure if it's rare or not, but a runic teal horse can spawn in herds randomly

There’s also Spot, who you can get by talking to the guy running the mini stable at Lookout Landing and following that quest line.

You actually dont have to start the questline to get the golden horse. It's there whether you start the quest or not.
Wrong, you don't have to start the quest at the stable, but you DO have to start the questline of the lucky gazette.

I literally just randomly stumbled across the golden horse. Tamed it, brought it to the nearest stable, and I think got some unique dialogue for it. Really cool horse. Also completed the quest immediately.

funny enough, i got zelda's golden horse before i even started the quest and when i went to talk to penn, he had a different dialogue saying something along the lines: "i barely even had the chance to get my beak into the story and you come strolling in on the princess' horse like its no big deal!?" it was so funny LOL
So for the golden horse you can actually grab it before even activating the quest. As long as you bring it to the closest stable as shown in the video and talk to the same people you are good to go.
It was really cool to see the different dialogue that I got.
You need the first quest though, before you take the news paper questline near rito, the horse is locked up.

Fun fact if you played botw and got Epona there, you can actually get Epona twice since it carries over the save for the horses in totk.
Actually, having Epona doesn't keep the Amiibos from giving you more at all. I had 6 Eponas before I found the white horse. Why'd I even bother registering her? Well, at 20 Rupees per Pony Point... with otherwise no effort on my part, eh why not?

Did you know you can own two big horses in tears of the kingdom The one he said and the black and orange horse well technically if you only played keys of the kingdom we can’t really get the black and orange horse. I forgot its name or are people called it so I wanna calling but I name to Big B But if you played a breath of the wild and got that horse, and then you play tears of the kingdom, you have that horse in tears of The kingdom, and plus you will have all your other horses that he got in Breath of the wild

The big orange and black ( ganondorf’s horse ) is in the game actually, on the beach close to elimith lab
Considering the Golden Horse, you don’t even have talk to Pen at the Stables, you just need to unlock his quests as a whole. I did this and ran into the horse before even running into the quest related stable or Pen.
when i got the golden horse and took it to the stable, i learned that the girl at the stable who was looking for the horse shares the same name as myself, and when i discovered this i was staring at my screen in shock for a solid 5 minutes

The big black one? It's around Hanto beach hanging out with some other horses. Getting it to a stable to register it is a B*tch.
Fun fact, the botw data carries over if you have the saves on the same user. I had my horses from botw already registered and got the giant white stallion and Zelda's golden horse

I got the golden horse today! Killed the frost Gleeok (with some effort) and then named the horse Butter! Not going to be riding it any time soon tho, because my 5 stamina horses from botw horse save transfer are much better, but its great to know i have it. Also, now i have the giant stallion from both games, and for anyone curious, the White stallion also gets the same saddle style as Ganon's horse when you get it in botw
you can get ganons horse without having botw save data. my main save was in mastermode so my horses did not transfer over. go east from hateno until you get to the beach and look. its easy to find.

I thought I had to fight the Gleock and i died multiple times and when I killed it I still didn’t see the horse, so I had to look up a guide to see what I had to do💀
I randomly found zeldas horse with no side quest active and just went "oh hey neat a gold horse"
Btw you can still get zeldas old white horse and ganons horse zeldas horse is north of skull lake on the mountain i recommend you get the sensor then take a picture of a horse because horses usually are found in packs/groups ganons horse is south of hateno ancient tech lab i highly recommend you bring stamina potions or stamina food because both giant horses and gold horse take a lot of stamina

Actually if you had Epona on breath of the wild it carries to tears of the kingdom and if you use the Amiibo you can get a second one. That's what I did.😁
You csn also get a spotted horse by going to Lookout Landing and doing tye side quest at the mini stable
Already have all three, but you can also get Epona if you have her in your previous Breath of the Wild save file.
You can actually get five unique horses because if you played the previous game and got the giant horse and the other Epona from the previous game, it’ll show up as one of your horses in the stable
Don't forget Spot!! The horse who ran away from the stable outside of Hyrule (the first skyview tower you get in the game, same building) he's not particularly fast but he has a very special coat (beige with black spots) and a mohawk!

You can still get the big ganon horse even without your botw save file. Cant remember exact area but if you go up the road through/ past hateno. Youll eventually find him
Then theres a beige with full body black spotted horse that you can get by completing a side quest from the mini stable at watch tower.
What’s one more thing to add to the list:Horses,big one,Zelda one ,amiibo one
Honestly, I got the golden horse before I talked to Penn at the stable, and the dialog if you get it before is a really nice touch
Eponas stats make it the best horse, luckily I have every single zelda amiibo.

So for the golden horse, as long as you have the quest started for the gazette, you don't actually have to start the quest itself for the horse. I found it before I started it and then only found out that it was a quest which immediately started then ended once I talked to Penn and the person that gives the quest.
The fact I did all of the stuff for the golden horse without noticing is insane
I legit beat the golden horse quest before seing it as a mission. I was in the area, glinding, when I saw a gold horse and immediately took it. Theres unique dialog if you beat the quest before starting it. I think the other reporter quest may do the same.
You can find ganon's horse near the area where the fish village was. The one that was near Hateno...
You don't even have to talk to Penn. I just stumbled onto Pixie (the golden horse) and brought it to the stable I saw in the distance.
The other horse in TOTK is Spot. He's a black leopard appaloosa (but the game says he has a dappling pattern, and as an equestrian I was quite unsettled). You can find him by completing the quest for the Mini Stable at Lookout Landing, then talking to Lester (I believe that's his name). After you capture him, more of the leopard appaloosas will start to appear. I've seen Chestnuts, blues, and pinks!

The golden horse was the first horse I got in TotK, I didn't even start the second part of the mission and didn't realise until i was half way through the map that i had to take it to a stable that was right next to it
Your horses can also be transferred from your save data in breath of the wild, which means you can in fact get Gannon's horse and if you already have Epona there is no need for the amiibo again

You can also get Spot by doing the mini stable quests in Lookout Landing. Spot is a very good boy and I'm pretty sure he's entirely unique looking.

Hey just wanted to say it's easier getting gold horse because it take 1 1/2 stamina while giant horse take 2 1/2 stamina to tame. Hopefully this saves someone some time 👍

For the golden horse you can head straight to it without starting the quest and then unlock some extra dialogue ( i just randomly stumbled upon it )

Additionally, the npc that takes care of the lookout landing stable has a quest involving his missing horse, which he will entrust to you if you find it, and I'm pretty sure you can register it. It has a pretty cool color so if you're interested
You can get multiple Eponas even if you have one registered. Once I was out with Epona, started scanning amiibos bc I was low on arrows, and got two new Eponas. Didn't bother registering them though bc I already had two registered but yeah I had 3 Eponas on the screen at once
I accidentally discovered the golden horse. I had literally no idea it was a quest. I never talked to the dude at the stable either 💀💀 he was passive aggressively pissed

I got a giant black horse with red hair by the coastline outside of Heteno village. Had to ride it for a while through the village to get to a stable.

If you have the Ganon horse from botw it will save and you will be able to use it without getting it because botw horses go over to totk

You actually can catch Epona in game now, you don’t have to use the Amiibo. You’ll find her just outside your first stable, I believe.
You can also get Zelda’s white stallion and the previous giant horse if you registered them from the previous game coming in to a total of 5 exclusive horses
I got Epona from BotW carreid over... I already had Zelda's horse early on from a side quest... might get the giant one later.

You dont need to talk to the bird first to get the horse. You can ride it up to him and the quest will be completed after some dialogue.
