Stop arranging-start performing. (no talking)

- Here's my answer to these questions:
"How can I get from loop to a track?"
"How can I capture a good flow?"
"How can I overcome boring arrangements?"
"How are you recording something?"
Get physical. Choose a set of project parameters you want to interact with.
Perform. Record.
Unsatisified with the first take?
Perform a second.
Unsatisifed with the second take?
Perform a third, fourth, fifth...
Iterate as many times as necessary.
Until you arrive at a conclusion.
There's no secret to this.
A performance is a physical interaction between you and your machine(s). It's about how you spend your time with the project at hand.
The more you overthink it, the more overthought and boring it has to become.
Give up rationalising. Stop thinking.
Let your gut guide your hands.
Perform.
This is what puts the 'making' into 'making music'. - Hudba
Yesterday before bed i watched the video on my phone..
It stucked with so badly that the first thing i did this morning was to listen to it on speakers.
Great music.
Welcome back... hope you're back to stay :)
the legend is back!! 🎛️🎧
Du bist einfach der Beste, Ronny!!!

Return of the king
Hut ab Herr Pries. Und schön dass du wieder was hochgeladen hast : )
yep ive been making music in session side for more than 20 years now .. never will go back to arrangement .. i dont even look at it .. i want to capture the feelings in real time in that moment and be as authentic with it as possible ! also always make an audio channel with Master routed to it for realtime recording !.. respect ronny..
more of this please!! would love to see what you control with your knobs and how the effects are set up
OK, Im gonna need to see a breakdown video for this!
Great stuff
thank you for this, there is really a lot of magic that happens when you start arranging dub style and make it a performance
massive!!
No talking?! That's the best bit! ☺
and hes back, cool
sick!
And now for the third question. When you going to break it down for us Ronny? Its been a while. Lovely Stuff.
Hey Jamie, kudos to finding this! - I kept it unlisted so far, thank you for the reminder! :)
Absolutely beautiful

Your content is awesome.

More vids brother ❤
Video does not play. Seems corrupted. Please reupload
Great stuff! What kind of controller did you use?
That's a Behringer BCF 2000 from the early '00s. Has been serving me well ever since.
Bro forgot to hit record :(
Or: prevented himself from endlessly fiddling with data on a screen, instead of recording it again :)
Hi Ronny, I'm looking online to see if we can buy your music anywhere?
I've got Bandcamp on my to-do for this year! Meanwhile you can refer to: archive.org/search?query=rktic
But none of this sounds close to as good as something that was thoughtfully arranged.
This song sounds like actual classic dub techno that was arranged and created by someone who knows what they are doing--and has been doing it for years, as Ronny has.
@@nautical_twilight its nowhere near compositionally or melodically interesting enough for non-electronic gear people to care.
@@stevetron2566 Wrong again. Were you expecting epic buildups and huge drops? You should explore how real Dub Techno (and Dub music) came to be and performances like this might make more sense to you. It's ok to not like the music, but you made an ignorant comment. It would be like me telling someone that their music isn't interesting because they didn't use a Clarinet.
