- In an interview with CBS News senior investigative correspondent Catherine Herridge, Donald Trump’s former criminal attorney Timothy Parlatore said he believes charges could be brought in Florida, and the former president’s legal team has a plan in place to respond, which would include motions to dismiss any indictment.

worse than defendants in ordinary cases (who would be incarcerated already). It's just because this time the defendant is a former president; the prosecutor is
extra cautious to make sure, there is not the slightest doubt about guilty or not and therefor the Trump case is treated with velvet gloves.
There is no real justice at play, because rich/powerful people have an advantage... and the J6 cases are an example ... the foot soldiers are in jail, but high officials ...
It's like Trump said : "famous people have always been able to grab others, fortunately or unfortunately" (abuser vs victim wise).

A second grand jury in Florida for the documents case because mar a lago is in Florida and the location of where the crimes took place. The grand Jury in Dc is for the special counsel's January 6 investigation. I think you will be seeing this guy in front of the jury in Florida. He separated himself from Trump because i believe he knows he probably lied to that grand jury and charges will be coming at some point for him also

So he says the National Archives made a mistake in allowing the documents to be kept at Mar-A-Lago? Ordinarily they would provide a separate storage area where they would have jurisdiction over the documents, but where Trump, as former president BUT private citizen, has TWO YEARS to review and separate what's his and what isn't his? Then, as I understand this lawyer, when National Archives realizes their mistake, which Trump has taken full advantage of, they politely request the return of the documents BEFORE THE TWO YEARS IS UP. Trump thinks he found a loophole to keep them, but returns some boxes, not all. I think I get it. Presidential REcords Act clearlly states that ALL presidential documents must be returned to National Archives when a President leaves office. But the documents can be placed in a location that the former president has access to to review and sort out. They are NOT HIS. The media has not explained or addressed this new information about the TWO YEAR processing phase, or the lack of Nat'l Archives to provide a secure place for them to be housed after the President leavs office. To me, this sounds like a reasonable defense for Trump, and a much weaker case for the prosecution, as much as I hate to see this.
It will be in the news much later. For now there's narrative to be peddled first. The truth and context can come later. We hate Trump, so...
