Riding the Skid at Cambridge Mid Summer

Riding the Skid at Cambridge Mid Summer has some photos and a short clip from a ride on J Bowerys Skid.
The ride had a great atmosphere and was great fun to ride. Thanks to David Wragg who operated the pedal while i shot this clip.

i have never heard of this ride. looks like fun.

in hoplland we have one with joystick on board to move it and we have an older one with big ropes, here you pull yourself on te rope

bit rough on the floor but I guess that's due to the floor.what do you expect with steel plates and the cars and fish use to have steel wheels as well
