Other than the usual clickbait title, nice work. Its never 100$ vs 4000$, because is 100$ for the pack of Ohuhu's which is not available to all, individually they are more expensive and you never buy all the collection of the copics.
But Ohuhu's has made most of premium brands fear, but again I believe they are selling their packs really cheap because they are promoting them. Single markers cost 2,5$ which is really cheap compare to all good brands. I would love to have a set just to play around, and if you are a starting, this is the only cheap but with quality marker set.
Ofc a single copic sketch vs a single Ohuhu in EU is 3 times more expensive, and the average price per single marker in packs is 7 times. Are they 3 to 7 times better than Ohuhus, NO WAY . but if you are coloring a lot (with backgrounds etc, on thick paper) the refill have saved me. A sketch with a refill for me cost around 17-20$ which is inkwise 8 markers, this is double the price but you can not buy indiviuals less than 2-2,5$ with Ohuhus, now Copic are on the same price are Ohuhus. 8 ohuhus would cost 16-20$
For the actual comparison its a matter of taste, Ohuhu's hue is closer to anime colors, copics are more versatile in their hue and coloring layering .
The colors you have picked made the copic side feel more natural but different than the supposed refference (we don't know it yet).
I like them both, because you are amazing artist you can make both be super amazing.
If I was starting my marker collection, I would start with Ohuhus and them more to Copics for the most used colors. I am glad that I can buy them on a store whenever I want. Come thick paper can suck up so much ink. If you can But the 216 Ohuhu pack with chizel and the 120 with the bullet nib.
the copics look much more vibrant but for this drawing, I honestly think the ohuhu's look a little better!

I prefer the first one, i dont know why, but the cheap version looks More like a digital drawing, and that's benefit the drawing very much
tbh I prefer the 100$ one. the colors are more subtle and matched more
Good job man, I like both of them. I think Vegeta should actually look even scarier in his new form because it fits him. If he won’t, I’m looking forward to him getting a new, hellish, scary form and I hope he will be a savage once more.

Ohuhu never dissapoints. It is on par with Copic even tho it's too cheap.
While the quality of color is objectively more interesting for the more expensive, the simplicity of the cheaper one fits Dragon Ball better.
I like that you drew Ultra Ego Vegeta!!! I prefer Copic Ciao Markers a little bit more than Ohuhu, but I think they're both good in their own right!
Both are amazing, and I don't think one is better than the other. The Ohuhu markers give off a bit more of a grungy style since they contain less pigment in their ink than Copics, so it gives a little more of an OG Dragon Ball Z feel, while the Copics are bright, vibrant, and precise, which makes them feel a little more like Super's art style.
The Ohuhus actually look better with the flesh tones. HOWEVER, the darker and more saturated pinks & purples do not hold a candle to the Copics.
COPIC looks a little more in depth than the Ohuhu markers. You have more colors to work with and the purple pops out on the right one. Both works are great but I would prefer COPIC.

@@crystination6303 I feel the only way I could like a $4000 set was if it was given to me as a gift, I could buy the $100 set 40 times and you really wouldn't be able the tell the difference if the pictures weren't side by side

Biggest difference I see is the $4,000 set has a richer saturation, while the $100 set is more desaturated. Either way, both end results look phenomenal!

in my opinion ohuhu's kind of give me that old DBZ animation vibe, while copic gives me DBS...both are really good, but i prefer the nostalgia feeling of DBZ. good work btw!!

looks like the ohuhu markers lay more uniformly. copic may have the edge with vibrance (maybe not anymore with ohuhu having over 300 colors now) but i think ohuhu laid down on the page more reliably.

The ohuhu markers look better from a drawers perspective I love ohuhu but the Copic did it’s thing as usually 🤦🏽♂️them some great markers can’t wait till I get me sum
$4000 markers are more vibrant, there should be no argument there. I believe the price ranges really show the difference in quality. If we pay close attention to the purple in Vegeta's hair, it's very obvious how drastic the contrast is. The clear winner is the drawing on the right.

Something about the pinkish tones in the cheaper markets gives it a little bit of nostalgia from the buu arc
The Ohuhu is FAR better, because this form doesn't seem like it'd be very PUNCHY with vibrant colors. It seems like it'll be a bit less saturated and washed out. Which I feel the Ohuhu conveys properly, it feels stronger and more powerful as well vs the punchy colors.
To be honest, I prefer the $ 100 drawing a thousand times.

As someone who nearly has every single copic marker there is, I think the Ohuhu markers on the skin look better. Copic still wins on the purple though.

I can assume that you felt good with the $ 100 ones, I don't know how you treat the 4000 ones but I imagine that the cheap ones gave you a wide palette of colors the result was satisfactory. However, the copics are based more on hues than elsewhere. Remember that the Artist does not make the material

4000$ marker was having more detailing in compare to 100$ marker in the darkness of it

Ohuhu markers are more affordable than the Copics. Plus to me the Ohuhu got some pretty good skin tone depths to them.
