- MACLEHOSE TRAIL STAGE SEVEN is the second shortest trail among the Maclehose stages. The trail starts at Shing Mun Reservoir Country Park and ends at Lead Mine Pass. It's 6.2km and additional kilometers hike to end the hike when you reach LEAD MINE PASS. This hike is another one of my favorite hiking route, it offers beautiful vistas. Amazing views of the entire hike and I can't get enough of the views! Stopping ang enjoying the beautiful views around made this short hike a long one for me. The NEEDLE HILL summit is breathtaking!
Maclehose Trail Stage 7 covers M125 to M137 Distance Post. I am making this MACLEHOSE CHALLENGE for myself hiking all the stages of Maclehose Trail by following the path with Maclehose Distance Posts. You will discover a lot of other trails on your way and I want to hike them separately next time.
In this video, I started at Shing Mun Country Park and I decided to end my hike there aswell.

Hello sis thank you for watching, itong hike na ito 3.5 to 4 hrs sis kung sundan mo yung route ko. Pero nahike ko ito ng 6 hours kasi picture picture ako ang ganda kasi ng views! Napakagandang hike, favorite ko na cya hehe.

Sis how long it take for solo hike no much stop and no much taking picture?plans coming Sunday
Hello sis, actually the hike itself is only 6.2km which you can only hike for 2 hours. But walking to the starting point is 1 hour also, and walking from the end point to the minibus stop is also 1 hour, so total 4 hrs for you.

How long is the hike to the needle hill?
Hi there, the hike itself is 6.2km which is not very long, you can finish this for 2 hours. But walking before and after the hike is quite long aswell so additional 2 hrs, total 4 hours😁. But I spent 6 hrs for this hike because I like to stop for photos and videos.

Approximately how many hours of travel up and down
Hi sis, in my own time, I hiked this for 6 hrs. with breaks. The hike(stage 7) is only 6.7km but you also have to walk for an hour to the minibus stop.

Is ther a hike community.. im new in hk and sometimes i going hike alone… lonely 🥹
hi there, I do hike alone many times! Not lonely though:-), but many hiking groups in HK, you can join them, look on FB pages about hiking in HK and there's a lot! I do organize sometimes but at the moment I choose difficult hikes so not really good for beginners. I do post in the community section if there are hike plans.
